Wednesday: Female Characters

4bdnsn0wflake here again, bringing you a new theme.
Today’s theme is Female Characters. Prompts can contain any and all genders, but the main focus should be on one or multiple female characters. Let’s show the ladies some love!
Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the above mentioned spoiler cut.
Prompts should be formatted as follows: [Use the character's full names and fandom's full name]

Mitsuri watches her fellow Pillars and can't help be in awe of all of them. Himejima's raw strength, Uzui's flamboyant elegance, Tomioka's calm exterior, Shinazugawa's ruthless ferocity, Rengoku's burning passion, Iguro's hidden kindness, Tokitou's dazed expressions, and most of all, Shinobu's shining brilliance.
Sometimes Pillar meetings send Mitsuri into a daze, with all of them together in one room. Those days she just hopes to not embarrass herself in front of them. It helps that afterwards she can be alone with Shinobu. Mitsuri would never say she has a favorite, but being the only two women in their position has drawn her to Shinobu like no other demon slayer.
Shinobu's office smells of wisteria and medicinal herbs, and Mitsuri's grown fond of the smell. She tries to keep quiet, since it's the only way Shinobu will allow her to stay while she works. The focus and effort Shinobu puts into her medicines for her patients as well as her poisons for demons makes Mitsuri flush with how much she admires her fellow slayer.
“Have you been eating well, Kanroji?” Shinobu asks carefully drips a new poison into her sword.
Mitsuri sits up straight in surprise; usually, Shinobu works in silence. “Oh, yes! I won't neglect myself again, Shinobu-chan!” she exclaims with a bright smile. “I plan to eat a big meal when I leave the Butterfly Manor.”
As Shinobu places her sword in her scabbard and puts away the empty poison bottle, she chuckles. “Well, I suppose I should make sure you'll keep your word,” she replies, standing up with a smile. “I'm finished for now. You wouldn't mind the company?”
“Never!” Mitsuri replies as she takes Shinobu's hand quickly. “I have the perfect restaurant I've been meaning to show you!”
Shinobu blinks in surprise, but Mitsuri hardly notices in her excitement. Halfway to the restaurant, Mitsuri catches Shinobu's true smile, and it takes them quite a while longer to reach the restaurant as she gushes over Shinobu's oh-so-rare smile. They reach it in the end, hand in hand.

“Shopping, a spa day, a picnic, a movie…not spending an afternoon at a firing range.”
Maze laughed and punched Linda on the shoulder. Hopefully the demon hadn’t meant to do it quite that hard.
“Yeah, right.” Mazikeen finished loading her automatic pistol.
“Okay, maybe those other options are a bit tame, but, I’ve never even held a gun.”
“And as you know, knives are more my thing. I thought this would be something we could learn together.”
“As much as I appreciate the sentiment,” Linda shook her head when Maze offered her a .22 caliber rifle. “I can’t imagine a situation where I would ever have the need to know how to use a gun.”
“Really.” Mazikeen disengaged the safety lock on her .45. “What if demons come to kidnap Charlie again? Don’t you want to have a first line of defense?”
Linda thought back to how terrifying it had been; the possibility she might lose her son to Hell’s denizens.
She grabbed the rifle.
“Set up a target, Maze. Let’s do this.”

The feel of the sun on her skin for the first time in two years makes something slip back in place in her mind that Nezuko couldn't reach since she had turned into a demon. It's not easy, and she has to keep reaching for her long forgotten words, every day.
When Tanjirou smiles at her, it's easier. He smiles more, now that her muzzle is gone. Forming words gets easier, then their world goes sideways again. She wakes up again, half in a daze. Nezuko can feel the cure burning through her veins, purging her of the demon blood.
But she doesn't have time to rest. What's left of the demon blood tells her something is wrong. She hears her long dead family telling her to save what's left, save her brother. Every step hurts, but Nezuko believes every step gets her closer to Tanjirou, so the pain doesn't matter.
Nezuko reaches him, like she knew she could. After all, it's her turn to save him.
