Tuesday : AI Generated creatures and things
Sep. 15th, 2020 06:14 amHello, everyone. I’m
cornerofmadness and all this week I’m bringing you AI generated prompts. I’m a little bit fascinated by AI generated things which can be so entirely bizarre and I thought it could be fun to play with that. Today's theme is AI generated creatures and things . If you like strange creatures head right here or you can use some more general things like you’ll find at this post (or any other AI generator you care to play with) Have fun with it. There is some funky fun stuff out there, crazy monster to fight, weirdly named diseases to catch, a town in the middle of nowhere with the odd name…
Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the spoiler cut.
If there are possible triggers in your story, please warn for them in the subject line!
Prompts should be formatted as follows: [Use the character's full names and fandom's full name]
Fandom, Character +/ Character, Prompt
Some examples to get the ball rolling...
+ Buffyverse, any, the putter vampire can’t be a thing can it?
+ Prodigal Son, Dani Powll + any, She’s learned Colette Swanson is only half right. Malcolm Bright is Dangerous But Not Unbearably So
+ Prodigal Son, any, Not Disquieting At All
We use AO3 to bookmark filled prompts. If you fill a prompt and post it to AO3 please add it to the Bite Sized Bits of Fic from 2020 collection. See further notes on this new option here.
Not feeling any of today’s prompts? Check out Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet 1 (not very current), Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet 2, or the Calendar Archives, or for more recent prompts, you can use LJ's advanced search options to find prompts to request and/or fill.
While the Lonely Prompts Spreadsheets and LJ's advanced search options are available, bookmarking the links of prompts you like might work better for searching for in the future.

Fill!
Date: 2023-09-13 11:56 pm (UTC)He tries to drink away the doubt. The first splash of whiskey on his tongue burned like a fire. He drinks to keep the nightmares away. The darkness that crawls into his mind and taunts him of what his fate is to become. He brought the bottle up to his lips, swallows down the burn. He drinks until his vision blurs and his mind is lost in a fog.
Still, he drinks more, too much until his stomach coils sickly, and he gagged, heaving. He devours half of a bottle of whiskey to dull out the memories of his past. His head pounds, the ache slicing through his mind like a razor-sharp knife, and please God, he prays, just end the misery.

Date: 2020-09-16 03:12 am (UTC)"That guy," he muttered under his breath. "He's nuts. Thinks his sister was abducted by aliens."
Not that you haven't heard it before. You have. Not just from Rob. Scuttlebutt is Mulder got stuck in the basement with the infamous X-Files - files of all the weird crap that no one else wanted to deal with because, seriously, flying saucers? Bigfoot? Werewolves? Space slugs? Who the hell believed in that sort of crap, anyway?
"In conclusion," Mulder said. Though he didn't change the tone of his voice, he definitely caught everyone's attention. Probably just those two words. "Our kidnapper is possibly escalating to becoming a murderer." He paused, scanning his audience. Made some sort of decision. "Read your packets. Reach out if you have any questions." Another pause, then, "Thank you," he said, and joined a red-haired woman who stood near the door. They both escaped, him holding the door for her while she said something only for his ears.
"At least it's not an alien kidnapping." Rob smirked at his own joke.
You nod, half-heartedly, and make a note to go over the packet carefully. Whatever he was, Mulder was known for being an excellent profiler. If you could use his knowledge to help catch the kidnapper, it'd be a job well done.
