Good Friday Morning my fellow prompters and fillers. I’m momma_66 here for one more day but I'll see y'all again on Monday!

Today's theme is Soulmate AUs. One of my personal favorite fanfic themes! Let's get creative with how our OTPs find their One or we can always rely on our favorites.

Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the above mentioned spoiler cut.

Fill: Hannibal extended fandom (D.I.D disorder)

Will was so unbothered by Hannibal's condition that it took Hannibal a little by surprise. He was used to people thinking he was a few fries short of a happy meal while other people—the religious nut jobs, to put it politely—believed he needed Jesus and an exorcism. Other folks just thought he was making shit up to get action.

Will, however, didn’t even blink an eye when Hannibal told him, because frankly, unique situations were right up his alley. Given his empathy disorder and his ability to think like a serial killer, having a boyfriend with D.I.D. syndrome was just another day in the life of Will Graham.

Will met Nigel first. It was date night, and while Hannibal normally cooked dinner for them, he bowed to his boyfriend's sweet puppy-dog eyes when Will asked to try the new Italian restaurant that had just opened up. After a marvelous dinner, they strolled home, hand in hand, under a sky full of twinkling stars. Along the way, they crossed paths with two punks who sneered hatefully at them, "Get a room, you fucking faggots."

Will refused to stoop to their level; he could have tossed back a response that was just as vulgar or flipped the bird, but he was better than that. But Hannibal gave a sharp growling grunt and a full-body shudder, and Will watched in shock as his soulmate slammed his fist right into the guy's face, knocking him out with one punch. Will had never seen Hannibal get violent before. He was too shocked to realize that a new personality had just taken control. "Hannibal!" Will yelled, mouth agape in shock.

The man crumbled to the ground as his friend lunged at Hannibal, just as Hannibal pulled a gun from the waist band of his slacks. Will didn't even know Hannibal was packing. He stood frozen in surprise as Hannibal shoved the barrel of the gun down the man's throat, choking him.

"Apologize." Hannibal commands, but Will quickly realizes that the man before him, while similar to his soulmate, is also different. On the side of his neck, a tattoo was slowly forming of a pinup girl in black fishnet stockings. His hair was lighter and blonder, as if he spent more time in the sun and was unkept; a few strands fell in his eyes that held a deadly gaze. "Apologize, now, you fucking cunt." Even his voice sounded different.

Hannibal had explained to him that when an alternate took over, the body went through a change of appearance as the body transformed into the personality who was in control. Hannibal didn't have a tattoo, but this alternate did. Will searched his brain through all the conversations they'd had about the altars.

This was Nigel, the brutal Romania gangster. " Apologize now, you price of shit! Clock's ticking on my benevolence." Nigel rams the gun farther down the guy's throat; he gags and cries a little before he pulls the gun away. The man who had rudely insulted them stutters an apology, shaking like he may piss his pants any second. Nigel kicks him in the chest, and the man grabs his friend, who has come to in a haze, and they rush off with their tails between their legs.

Tucking the gun away, Nigel turns to Will whom is still staring at him. He always wandered what it would be like when he finally met Hannibal's alters. This situation never crossed his mind. Nigel swaggers over to Will and gives him a smirk. "Hello gorgeous."

Will blush lightly, suddenly feeling a little awkward meeting his boyfriends alternate after a run in with a few punks. "Hi Nigel."

Nigel looks him up and down, and bites his lip with the same lustful expression Hannibal gets when he wants to ravish Will. "Damn, gorgeous. You are even more beautiful then Hannibal said you were."

"Can Hannibal come back out?" He shifts from foot to foot awkwardly, he feels shy talking to Hannibal, whom is not in fact Hannibal.

Nigel tucks an unruly strand of hair behind his ear, his eyes still holding that same lustful hunger. "Sure. I'll send him out. He saw what happened, and he's worried about you."

From what Hannibal told him, all the alternate personality were in a room together, and whoever held the light had control. "He keeps trying to steal the light from me. He heard what those guys said to you." And he wants to turn them into a nice meal just form you, Nigel wants to say, he thought Will should know the full truth, he keeps silent because Hannibal made him, and the other alternates swear to never tell Will that Hannibal was the Chesapeake ripper.

Stepping closer, Nigel leans down, and Will believes he is going in for a kiss. But Nigel kisses his cheeks softly, and Will loses his breath for a second. "I'll see you around, gorgeous."

With a grunting growl and a full-body shudder, Nigel gives back control, and Hannibal emerges. The tattoo on his neck fades, and his hair darkens slightly. The moment he sees Will, he grabs him, hugging him tightly. " Darling, are you alright?"

He looks around for the punks, but they are gone. He cups Will's cheeks, making sure he is not hurt, even though he watched the situation unfold from inside his mind while Nigel was in control. Will cups Hannibal's face gently; he knows Hannibal was worried about his safety. "I'm perfectly fine. Nigel kicked those guys' asses."

Hannibal heaves a heavy sigh. This was not how he wanted Will to meet his alternate. He planned for this to happen during a session in his office, just the two of them, safely together. Not after an altercation with two homophonic punks. " So you met him."

Will grins and says, "I did. He was charming, but scary as hell."

"He is a brute." Hannibal tucks Will back into his arms, hugging him and pressing a kiss on his curls.

Will hangs onto Hannibal, nuzzling his neck where the ink has faded completely. "He kept me safe. He's just like you, he's very protective of me."

Hannibal gave Will a squeeze and kissed his forehead, softly whispering, "Indeed he is."
