Thursday - Flowers
Jan. 28th, 2021 06:19 amGood morning! I’m
momma_66 and today's theme is Flowers. Prompts can be about flowers - receiving them, their meaning, or in my case mostly just allergies - as always get creative.🥀🌺🌸🌹⚘🌷🌻🌼🏵💮
Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the above mentioned spoiler cut.
Prompts should be formatted as follows: [Use the character's full names and fandom's full name]
Fandom, Character +/ Character, Prompt
Some examples to get the ball rolling...
🥀 Naruto, Any kunoichi, wondering wtf that flower lesson was suppose to achieve
💐 Any, Any(+/Any), fresh-cut flowers on the table every morning
🌹 Prodigal Son, Malcolm Bright & or / Erdisa Tanaka, sending amusingly morbid flowers to each other
We are now using AO3 to bookmark filled prompts. If you fill a prompt and post it to AO3 please add it to the Bite Sized Bits of Fic from 2021 collection. See further notes on this new option here.
Not feeling any of today’s prompts? Check out the just created Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet. For more recent prompts to write, you can also use LJ’s advanced search options to limit keyword results to only comments in this community.
While the Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet and LJ's advanced search options are available, bookmarking the links of prompts you like might work better for searching for in the future.

Date: 2021-01-30 12:46 am (UTC)Pepper sighed and closed her eyes. She never should have agreed to let Tony help her clean her mother’s attic.
Pepper had figured Tony’s curiosity would last as long as most of his relationships, and he’d soon get bored and leave her alone to work in peace.
But, surprisingly and annoyingly, he was really into it. He was getting into everything and asking a million questions about various objects he ran across.
At first Pepper had tried to humor him, amused that he was showing such an interest in something other than himself. Now she just wanted to kick him down the stairs. They’d been here for over two hours, and she was the only one making a dent.
Pepper walked over to where Tony was standing. He was holding a rather plain-looking picture frame and staring at the photo inside.
Pepper peered over his shoulder.
It was a photo of her, when she was about fifteen. She was in field of golden grass, which was dotted with white and yellow flowers. She wore a sundress, its material and her hair blowing in the breeze. On her head she sported a crown of daisies, on her face a wide smile.
“I haven’t seen this in forever.” Pepper blushed, anticipating some quip from Tony that would either be mocking or lewd.
“I was going to say…”
“Yes, I know. I look ridiculous. Some wannabe flower child with daisies in her hair.” Pepper shook her head self-consciously.
“That wasn’t what I was going to say.”
“What, then?”
“I was going to say you look like sunshine.”
Pepper had no retort for that. In spite of her knowing him better than anyone else, sometimes he still managed to surprise her.
Tony let out an elaborate yawn.
“I’m hungry. And I want some booze.”
“Tony, it’s two in the afternoon.”
“And?”
Pepper sighed again.
“Okay, lunch break. I’ll come back – by myself – afterward.”
“Cool, cool.” Tony muttered, still studying the photo. “Hey, can I have this?”
“What? No. I mean…”
“Do you want it?”
“Not really.”
“Well, then, why not?”
Pepper eyed him with suspicion.
“Why do you want it?”
Tony shrugged.
“I like it, is all. If you want, I can have a copy made, and then I’ll give it back.”
Pepper found herself touched, and a little flattered.
“No. It’s okay. It’s yours.”
Tony gave her a thumbs-up in way of a thanks.
“Now, let’s get something to eat. I’m thinking Eduardo’s.”
“They don’t open until five.”
Tony looked at her expectantly.
Pepper sighed once again and pulled out her smart phone.
“I’m on it.”
