Greetings Comment Fic Folks!
Today is Tuesday and I will be your pinch hitting host today!
I think Tuesday is a good day for Monsters, don't you?
So let's have them, werewolves, vampires, deformed creatures, boogie men, Frankensteins, or the more human variety, maybe even the imaginary kind...
Remember to format your prompts properly:
Supernatural, wee!Sam and wee!Dean, monsters in the closet
Leverage, Eliot, the monster inside
Crossover:
Buffy/Supernatural, Faith/Dean/Sam, things that go bump in the night
Remember the rules, and be kind to our codemonkeys--only three prompts per fandom, and only five prompts at a time. If one of them is filled, you can go ahead and post another.
And if you don't see anything that you like, you can always go through our Lonely Prompts.
Go forth and have a monstrously good time. (yeah, yeah...okay that one was uncalled for, I apologize) And Happy Tuesday y'all.

Date: 2011-01-28 09:48 pm (UTC)Neither of them had forgotten about their approaching...obstacle. Eliot had been in the kitchen non-stop, cooking and eating at a steady pace for two days. Parker had been teasing him about putting on a winter coat and in private Alec gave him a hard time that it was half nervous eating too. His first idea had been for Eliot to go off on his own for the three days. It was a warm fall and there was miles of mountains between them and remote civilization. Eliot put his foot down on that; the wolf had been even pricklier than usual when it came to Alec. The last two transformations had left the young man pinned under Eliot in their shared apartment; the wolf growling at the slightest noise. Since coming to the cabin (something they hadn't been able to use in the past few months) the presence that he associated with the wolf had settled.
The rest of the team was enjoying watching the two fall apart. It was only marginally insulting that they thought the team didn't know what was going on behind their chain-locked doors. Nate knew everything about his team and Eliot's infliction was one of the first major secrets he found. It had almost been a deal breaker, but when he considered that it was seven months in and there had never been even a 'bite-size' problem... The contact that delivered the information called him crazy when Nate threaten him when asked if he needed the 'problem' taken care of.
Eliot wasn't Parker's first werewolf...wasn't her second either but she didn't think about the second. Just the first. Hippie kid she met in the East years ago; he'd been nothing like Eliot. He'd been trying to figure out ways to control the wolf and the last she had heard he had done alright for himself. Parker broke into Eliot's apartment for practice one night and stumbled across the secret then. Her gut reaction after the second werewolf almost had her running but she reminded herself that Eliot had never done anything to make her think he would let himself loose one night and slaughter them all.
Sophie, ever the romantic, hadn't been convinced until after Eliot and Alec got together. There was the possibility, she knew enough of Eliot's attitude, the mood swings that fell before and after a lunar cycle, his unbelievable loyalty in such a short time. It was the way his actions toward Alec changed that tipped her over into believing. The fierce protection, the anger when Alec was in avoidable danger. The pacing, circling, growling when he was placed there on purpose. It was undeniably beautiful to her.
All five of them were more than aware of the danger that was coming. When Eliot changed there would be three additional presences that the wolf was not use to. Nate was calculating just how much pull Alec's safety would have on the wolf; if it would feel threaten by them. Parker was hoping she'd be able to peek the transformation, something she always seemed to miss. Sophie... couldn't wait to see everyone's reaction when Eliot rolled over like a puppy and just wanted Alec close by.

Date: 2011-01-28 09:48 pm (UTC)"I don't need the whole team knowing I'm a freak, Alec," Eliot growled. He looked at his watch and his already dark mood grew worse; there was five hours until the full moon. Five hours to figure out a way to keep the wolf from slaughtering his entire family in one night.
"You're fine when it's just the two of us. How do you know it wont be okay?"
Eliot glared, "Monster, Alec." Alec rolled his eyes and pinched Eliot's arm. "Y'know it is."
"You're not a monster. I thought we'd gotten over this identity dilemma." Alec scanned over their family; they seemed busy but he'd gotten the distinct feeling in the last few days that they had been watching them. Closely.
"Not the issue right now." Eliot followed Alec's eyes around the room. "They know...something already. I just don't know if they've figured everything out."
Parker glanced at them and winked before miming a wolf howling. "I think they know everything." Alec's face fell into his hand. "So long have y'all been humoring us?" Nate raised an eyebrow, Parker grinned and Sophie squealed. Parker stood up and approached them slowly, she circled around before taking a seat; right between them, wiggling around until she had room.
"I've known since March...2009!" She declared, proudly. "You're not going to eat us tonight?" They could have laughed if Parker hadn't asked so seriously that even Nate was shifting uncomfortable in his seat.
"We're going to go out in the woods and hopefully just stay out of everyone's way-"
"You're not coming," Eliot cut in before Alec could finish.
"Am too."
"Are not."
"Am too."
"I think you should both stay here. It'll keep the wolf at peace and I don't think we have anything to worry about." Sophie kept her voice even and calm but there was still a commotion of out bursts.
Eliot and Nate were the loudest and most protesting. They clamored over each other saying basically the same thing, "Too dangerous!" Parker was shaking her head, "No, not a good idea, not at all." Alec was trying to finish explaining his idea, which wasn't half bad, alternatives considered.
"You're staying here where it's safe," Eliot finally turned to Alec shutting him up mid-sentence.
"Oh, yeah, that will work. Y'know the wolf will just come back here. It doesn't let me out of sight on good nights." Parker snickered and Alec turned to her, disgusted, "You're dirty, girl."
"I really think you should both stay here. You'll be surprised how at ease a wolf is when it's mate is near by." Sophie smiled dreamily between the two of them.
Nate shook his head, "I don't know about that, and is this really the time to be experimenting?"
Sophie rolled her eyes, "You know about werewolves just as much as I do, Nate. They're completely tame when around their mate." Eliot and Alec's faces grew darker with the second mention of the word 'mate'. They hadn't talked about that much. Even though they knew it was true and Eliot may have given Alec the mating bite months ago; they weren't sure. "You are mated, aren't you?"
"Um," they mumbled, "maybe..."
Sophie clapped, "Then everything will be fine!" Nate looked tense and Parker was a bit on edge. Alec and Eliot were terrified.

Date: 2011-01-28 09:49 pm (UTC)Alec got immense enjoyment out of getting Eliot so excited that his leg started kicking. During the distraction Parker took the opportunity to start her own assault on Eliot. Before he knew it they were tag teaming him and Eliot was making an odd sound.
"Is...is he purring?" Nate wrinkled his nose. He was never letting Eliot live this down.
"Something like that," Alec grinned. "He makes it whenever he's really happy." Alec dipped down and kissed Eliot's furry head. The wolf tilted his own head and licked Alec's face from chin to temple. "Thanks mutt," he muttered, wiping away the 'kiss'. Eliot just did it again, and again. Then he nuzzled into Alec's side and pinned him to the couch. "Damn it, Eliot, we have talked about this."
Parker giggled and curled up on the floor next to them. "He's such a fluff ball." She fluffed his bronze coat.
"He's gonna shed in the next two transformations. That's going to be fun." Alec proved his point by brushing tuffs of hair off his lap onto the floor.
Sophie had spent the entire experience watching them with a small smile. "So amazing what love will do."
Nate whispered, just for her, "Don't call them Beauty and the Beast, though." She snorted and nodded her agreement.
