Howdy! We’ve made it to Thursday, and I remain 4bdnsn0wflake, and today’s theme is 3 Sentences.
 
Prompts can be anything, but fills should be three sentences long (or multiples thereof).

Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.

Hermione announced as Ginny opened her front door and felt a big flower bouquet being pushed into her arms by Ron.

"Oh, thank you, but you really didn't have to ... Harry, look what Hermione and Ron gave us to our anniversary," she said and turned around to her husband who had the same bewildered look on his face as she did.

The couple went into the kitchen while Ron and Hermione sat on the couch, and when they were out of hearing range, Ginny asked: "So I assume we both forgot?"

Harry grinned, "It would seem so ... Happy anniversary, dear."

He kissed Ginny's cheek who started to laugh softly: "I'm glad we're both unromantic."

It’s because the kid looks like someone he killed in Goyang, that’s why Bucky freezes — not freezes, hesitates; that he’s able to hesitate now, he’s actually proud of that — pulls his punch, doesn’t leave him unconscious on the ground, wires crossed.

“Are you kidding me,” Sam yells afterwards, shoving Bucky, both hands on his shoulders, “are you kidding me,” and maybe his wires are crossed too because Bucky can’t tell if he’s trying to push him away or haul him close.

“If I’mma lose you in a fight it ain’t gonna be because of some—“ wires are criss-crossing all over the place but when Bucky’s back hits the brick wall and Sam’s barely breaking off his diatribe to press invectives into his mouth — blood and adrenaline; more battle than kiss — Bucky doesn’t fight back and there’s no hesitation, not for this his first, best surrender.

Jean-Luc couldn't contain his smile as Elnor – with a look of pure bliss - tucked into the meal he had prepared with Zhaban and Laris’s help. Cognac shrimp to start, followed by coq au vin from chickens Zhaban kept on the estate - and of course, the Picard family wine - and lastly crepes stuffed with sweet cheese and drizzled with chocolate. Elnor might yet return to Vashti and the Qowat Milat but he insisted on seeing Jean-Luc all the way home.

The least he could do was give the boy the grand tour and dinner. Zhaban and Laris took to Elnor straight away and Elnor explore Chateau Picard with all the enthusiasm of the child Jean-Luc had first met. Later, they retired to his fireplace to relax after a perfect meal with some brandy distilled on the grounds.

Jean-Luc understood now why Will and Deanne were content in their bucolic house. There was peace here even if it lacked adventure. With three Romulans and his dog at his side, Jean-Luc was home.

The doorbell ran incessantly, forcing her to swing the door open and bark out a, "What?"

A delivery man stood outside, offering her an electronic doohickey and telling her to 'sign there' while he went and got the 'rest of the stuff' out of the truck.

She watched as flats of flowers began to crowd her stoop, huddling together on the sidewalk, nestling near the steps, until the delivery man could barely find room to put any more. He tipped his hat, climbed into his van...and he was on the other side, only visible when the van drove away.

"What's all this?" she asked, refusing to wave her hands, refusing to relax her voice or her frame or anything as the scent of all the flowers wafted around her.

"I know you said no flowers for an apology," he said with a sweet, bashful smile, "but what about a flower garden?"

"What if we run out?" As far as she was aware, none of the countless entries in the club notebook had ever dealt with something like this.

She laughed. "There should be enough in there to last the entire weekend! I'm drained dry as it is."

Barbara gritted her teeth, trying to push back the growing heat spreading across her cheeks. The deep shadows and thin sliver of a moon overhead were her only camouflage.

Barbara tightened her fist, pulling her arm back. Maybe a good strike to the nose would teach the jester to keep her mouth shut — though a shot to the bottom jaw would really drive the lesson home. Sure, Harley might need stitches, but that was the sort of thing her dad could deal with, what with the seven or so hours until his own shift ended.
