"Couldn't you have started collecting something less...creepy?" Sam asks, nose wrinkling as Bucky places the porcelain doll in his hand onto its stand. He takes a minute to pull the long, black doll hair over its shoulders.

"My sister used to collect these," Bucky answers simply. Sam bites back a groan, he can't really complain about that can he? Bucky pulls another carefully from the box. When he asked Sam to drive with him to the city to pick-up 'something', Sam had not expected a box of antique dolls.

He sets each one up as carefully as the first. Smoothing their hair and pulling the folds from the satin and lace dresses. It had taken some convincing for Bucky to put the dolls on display in the living room, Sam claimed no one would be able to enjoy them hidden away in the bedroom.

The last one has red hair and blue eyes and is giving off strong, creepy Annabelle vibes. One eye slowly blinks as it stares dead into Sam's soul. He turns around and walks away but turns in time to see Bucky carefully open the eye, brushing the plastic hair over its shoulders.

"There we go," Bucky smiles at his work, "perfect."

Sam turns and stomps away to the kitchen, his own damn house and he's never sleeping again!
