templefugate, your host this week. Today is my last official day for a while, so I thought I'd end things with a bang by focusing on one of my favorite topics: Animals! Prompts can be anything related to or about any and all kinds of animals. Furry, scaly, soft, big, air or water-breathing - it's all fair game.
Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the above mentioned spoiler cut.

He's still pretty sure it's a bad sign when Fury sends them the video feed of what's currently going on in the Brooklyn Zoo and Tony immediately exclaims, "That is not an animal, that is a Pokemon!"
"What's a Pokemon?" Steve asks, confused, at the same time as Clint says, "Shit, I think you're right."
Natasha sighs. "They are video game monsters. They may look cute and fluffy, but they are created to be opponents and weapons in the games. Do not be deceived.
"Oh, man, this is going to be so cool. I'm definitely an electric type. So's Thor. Natasha's fighting type.... Steve might be fighting/ground?" Tony muses as the Quinjet approaches the location of the battle.
Steve wonders if that's an insult or not, from his flying teammate. Before he can ask, Clint glances away from the plane controls long enough to ask, "What about me?"
"That's the beauty of your new quiver, bird brain. You can be whatever type you want. You've got electric, poison, normal, psychic..." Tony lists off.
Clint scoffs. "None of my arrows count as psychic damage."
"The screech ones. What do they do? Disarm your opponent with a noise so awful it confuses them," Tony points out.
"It hurt itself in its confusion!" Clint agrees, obviously pleased. "I hadn't thought of that. Man, this is going to be fun."
It is not fun. However much Tony and Clint had insisted as they landed that it was going to be just like playing Pokemon in real life, the battle turned out to be messy, stressful, and hard.
Locals were curious about the animals, and keeping spectators out of harms way was almost impossible, no matter how hard SHIELD tried. It added a thoroughly unwelcome level of additional difficulty to the battle.
The Pokemon turned out to be robots, not magical constructs, anyway. The zoo's IT guy had gotten sick of fiddling with cage locks and software to sell snow cones to tourists and begun building the robots in his spare time in an unused storage shed. That had been all well and good until he'd accidentally brought them all online at once and lost control.
The damage is fixable, though, and nobody is seriously hurt. Steve's pretty sure Tony's considering offering the guy a job.
Fingering a spot where a creature had torn his uniform with an attack Natasha told him was called 'Vine Whip', Steve sighs. He was right all along- no mission that begins with Tony quoting pop culture he doesn't understand is ever a good one.
