canonisrelative and today's my last day hosting! When I signed up I didn't realize this week was going to end up being so nuts busy for me, I really regret I haven't had the time to write for any of your awesome prompts but I've made note of quite a few. Thank you all for playing along!
Today's theme is Your Favorite Trope. When you think about your very favorite episodes movies or books is there a common theme that just makes you sit up and go THIS IS THE GOOD SHIT!? Like for me, I love what I call "Road Trip of Justice" which is a fic tag I've seen for Supernatural stories, for Erik and Charlies in XMFC, for Sam and Steve when they're hitting the road looking for Bucky... (I think this one got implanted in me when I was a kid reading Lord of the Rings. Nine guys trekking the wilderness together, relying on each other even if they don't all like each other, because there is NO ONE ELSE AHHH.)
So yeah. Prompts can be anything. Dig into your id and put your fave characters into scenarios that make you want to reach for the popcorn.
Just a few rules:No more than five prompts in a row.No more than three prompts in the same fandom.Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the above mentioned spoiler cut.

Pepper smiles as Morgan cheers excitedly, “blow out the candles”, giggling as she claps her hands happily.
Tony sits up in bed grinning, and Peter leans in to hold out the cake. “Blow the candles out and make a wish.”
Tony huffs a deep breath then blows out the candles, promptly tackled by his daughter and son who gives him a big bear hug. Pepper watches her children begin a tickle war with their father, smiling brightly as she listens to her beautiful family laughing to their heart's delight.
Tony was so thankful for the family he had, he loves his kids and Pepper with all his heart.

"Excuse me?" Jane looked straight at him. Her eyes were bright, gaze knife sharp. It was a sharp contrast to the rest of her. Maybe it was just the dim, cloudy Manhattan skyline that was giving her skin a chalky grey tint, but there was no denying that she looked thinner than when he'd last seen her. Her oversized sweater and baggy yoga pants only seemed to further emphasize that fact.
"During our mission today," Sam continued. "I'm not sure what exactly you were saying, but the look on that guy's face said it all."
She chuckled. The low, throaty sound echoed in his ears. "I don't think he'll be bothering the Hammond Labs staff again anytime soon." She adjusted the baby blue scarf wrapped around her face and neck.
Sam looked ahead. "It was cool." He smirked. "I could probably say that about a lot of things that happen to me, but it's true."
She smirked. "You want to know a secret?"
"Don't leave me hanging."
"I had no idea what was happening. I say things and they just... Come out. Whatever language, all I have to do is open my mouth. It's rather useful."
He laughed. "You can say that again. Still, I don't get why you have to sound like a walking Renaissance fair all the time."
"There's not exactly an off switch for that, Sam son of Wil."
"Hey, it has its charms." He slipped his hands into his back pockets. "You hungry? I know a good burger place three blocks over."
"Aren't you busy?" She didn't meet his gaze.
"I'm free now."
"It's seven in the morning."
"Here's a little secret of your own: Give Jerome a big enough tip and he'll make you waffles and an omelette during the afternoon rush hour."
And hey, after coffee, why not switch things up?
"Sam..."
"I didn't know you had other plans today."
"You don't have to do this, you know. You don't have to feel bad for me."
His throat tightened. How long had it been since they'd so much as chatted? The time since they'd gotten coffee was a blur in his mind, the sudden silence between them only further expanding that gap.
"Look, Jane, you kiss a man like that, you're bound to get him excited. Excuse me for trying to chase that thrill."
She shook her head. "Sam, I don't know what I was thinking when I did that."
"You weren't." He held his hand out. "You didn't even have to open your mouth and things just came out."
Wordlessly, she laced her fingers through his own, squeezing his hand. Whether a six-foot tall viking goddess or a mortal beanpole, his chest still warmed at her touch.
