classics_lover here for another glorious week of hosting. Monday's theme is paint colours. Find a paint palette and the random names for ordinary colours, and use them to inspire your prompts. Maybe Chief O'Brien prepares a meal of Dublin Bay Prawn, or the Leverage team encounter a Rarity (both colours I have in my house right now :P). Have fun!
Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the above mentioned spoiler cut.

He’d been at home, pacing in front of the screens for hours when she finally called him from Japan. He’d slapped the controls and there she was, Barton beside her, both of them soaked through. She’d locked eyes with him and nodded twice, the look of triumph and burgeoning hope on her face nearly breaking his heart. He’d smiled, nodded, and ended the call without a word.
And now it’s as though the rain belongs to the memory of her. Years in the future, decades in the past, Steve stands at his open window, breathing in the scent of rain-washed earth, and remembers.
