cornerofmadness and today's theme is candy. Who doesn’t love some kind of candy? All candies are fair game and all the candy laden holidays. Follow your sweet tooth wherever it leads you.
Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the spoiler cut.
If there are possible triggers in your story, please warn for them in the subject line!

Some examples to get the ball rolling...
+ Prodigal Son, Malcolm Bright + Edrisa Tanaka, she gets him a bag of all sorts just because
+ Prodigal Son, Malcolm Bright Gil Arroyo, Gil introduces little Malcolm to Haw Haw milk candy that he loved when his Filipino relatives gave it to him when he was a kid
+ Good Omens Crowley Aziraphel, Aziraphel loves candy any which way he can get it
+ Prodigal Son, Dani Powell + any, Dum-Dums make her think of Bright
+ any, any the Halloween haul

Date: 2021-10-08 01:50 pm (UTC)It wasn't as if he would find a pack of Silk Cuts in an overflowing plastic pumpkin pail. Though he probably wouldn't find these either, at least not unless they were forgotten at the furthest corners of the very bottom.
John had spent the last three days working his way through most of a bag of Dum-Dums. By now, the cherries, grapes, cotton candies, and blue raspberries (whatever the hell those were) were gone. The vividly colored wrappers of lemon lime, root beer, butterscotch, and a mystery now stared back at him. After a few sharp glances, he finally selected the latter, dumping the rest back into a pocket of his trench coat, where they could join the flavorless nicotine gum and old coins that had long called it home.
The real mystery, John realized as he pulled off the wrapper, was why Americans sucked on these damn things.
"Oh, don't be so dramatic." Zee spoke with that sanctimonious tone that doctors and priests had always loved to use with him. And really, what was a stage magician better for than giving advice? "Your health will thank you for this."
"For what, chipping my teeth?"
