Hello, everyone. I am once again ami_ven and today's theme is Food & Drink. Prompts should be anything about or involving food and/or drink.

Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.

Title: Turkeyed Out

Summary: Someone let Dawn in the kitchen again and she just knows everyone is tired of leftover turkey.

“You made what?”

At Buffy’s screech Angel and Connor ran into their kitchen. He thought having Buffy and her friends and family over for the Thanksgiving holidays would be fun. He and Spike both wanted to see Buffy, having learned they could be in a polycule and not have it be like it was with Darla and Dru. Connor always enjoyed seeing Dawn and Giles and Willow made everyone smile.

They found Willow and Buffy staring at Dawn in horror as she worked a waffle-maker.

“I found the recipe online. I was sure we were all turkeyed out,” Dawn said defensively, levering a waffle out of the machine. When had Connor gotten a machine? Angel had no idea. He lived with two vampires who had no need of cooking tools so it had to be his.

“We’re definitely turkeyed out,” Willow agreed.

“But we haven’t gone insane. Waffles and spaghetti sauce? Just where in the hell were you on the internet, Dawn?” Buffy demanded to know, looking two steps from breaking down into hysterical laughter or fleeing. Angel wasn’t sure which.

“It sounded different. Connor likes to be experimental. You’ll try them right?” Dawn smiled at him.

Connor popped his blue eyes open wide. “I grew up in hell. Why are you trying to send me back there?”

Dawn pouted at him. “Where’s your sense of adventure?”

“I left it in Quor-Toth.” He snagged a waffle and slapped it on a plate. “I’ll eat this but I’m putting syrup and butter on it.” Connor sniffed it. “You didn’t put anything weird in the batter did you?”

“I’m insulted!” Dawn took a sauce pot off the stove and smothered another of the waffles. “Spike is always willing to try my cooking.”

She sailed off. Angel followed. This he had to see.
