Hello, everyone. I’m
nagi_schwarz and today's theme is album titles. Prompts can be album titles or anthology titles or album series titles. Thanks to everyone who has left prompts and written fills!
Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the above mentioned spoiler cut.
Prompts should be formatted as follows: [Use the character's full names and fandom's full name]
Fandom, Character +/ Character, Prompt
Some examples to get the ball rolling...
+ MI-5|Spooks, Lucas North, No Limit (Monsta X)
+ Stargate Atlantis, Rodney McKay/John Sheppard, All Yours (Astro)
+ BBC Sherlock, Sherlock Holmes, Rumination (SF9)
+ The Sandman, Morpheus + any, The Dreaming (Monsta X)
+ Cowboy Bebop, Spike Spiegel, Dream Part 1 (Astro)
We are now using AO3 to bookmark filled prompts. If you fill a prompt and post it to AO3 please add it to the Bite Sized Bits of Fic from 2021 collection. See further notes on this new option here.
Not feeling any of today’s prompts? Check out the just created Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet. For more recent prompts to write, you can also use LJ’s advanced search options to limit keyword results to only comments in this community.
While the Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet and LJ's advanced search options are available, bookmarking the links of prompts you like might work better for searching for in the future.

Fill -- All Yours
Date: 2021-12-03 06:02 pm (UTC)The voice sent a shiver down his spine.
"Major, think about where we are in the solar system."
John really wanted to say Oh. There you are! but he swallowed that instinctive reply and instead focused on the solar system that popped into his head from the chair.
What came out was "Did I do that?" instead.
Finally looking into blue eyes was a relief. And painful. He had learned the hard way to keep his emotions to himself and this was not the time to give in to what his heart wanted.
Blue Eyes was named Dr. Rodney McKay.
John feigned reluctance to ensure he wasn't separated from Rodney. O'Neill might or might not understand -- he saw the way O'Neill looked at Jackson -- but there were others that would not.
Then there were aliens, space ships, nuclear weapons, bugs, and Wraith. Problems came fast and furious but Rodney was a constant. Irascible, scared, brilliant but always there.
When Rodney lost his intelligence, he never lost his memory of John. John hung on to that like a lifeline. Without Rodney he would be lost.
Getting Rodney back was a relief. Even Jennifer Keller could not dampen his joy.
It turns out 'home' is relative. Jennifer thought of Earth as home. She left for Earth hoping to take Rodney with her. Like a prize she had won.
But Rodney considered Atlantis home now. John shouldn't have felt relieved when Jennifer left without a backward glance.
Then DADT was stricken from the books and John found himself with an armful of astrophysicist.
"Didn't think I could have you," Rodney murmured into John's skin.
"Yours. All yours," John replied. A lifetime of repression burbled up and out and over his lips.
For John, home was Rodney McKay and would always be.
