Hi! I’m [livejournal.com profile] brumeier, and this week we’re going to be hitting the library shelves for some titles because I love me some books. Today’s theme is Book Titles: Fantasy/SciFi! Your prompts can be any book title that fits this theme, whether or not the actual book is in that genre.

Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the spoiler cut.
If there are possible triggers in your story, please warn for them in the subject line!

Prompts should be formatted as follows: [Use the character's full names and fandom's full name]
Fandom, Character +/ Character, Prompt

Some examples to get the ball rolling...

+ Astro, Ensemble, Touched by Magic (Celine Jeanjean)

+ Stargate Atlantis, Any, The Atlantis Bloodline (C.A. Gray)

+ Any, Any, The Care and Feeding of Stray Vampires (Molly Harper)

+ MI5|Spooks, Any, The Forbidden Zone (Tom Trott)

We use AO3 to bookmark filled prompts. If you fill a prompt and post it to AO3 please add it to the Bite Sized Bits of Fic from 2016 collection. See further notes on this new option here.

Not feeling any of today’s prompts? Check out Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet 1 (not very current), Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet 2, or the Calendar Archives, or for more recent prompts, you can use LJ's advanced search options to find prompts to request and/or fill.

While the Lonely Prompts Spreadsheets and LJ's advanced search options are available, bookmarking the links of prompts you like might work better for searching for in the future.

BBC Robin Hood, any, Oathbringer (Brandon Sanderson)

Fill: Guy & Much

“What do you make of this Oathbringer?” Guy asked Much. They had met in their usual spot in the forest, where Much would frequently collect berries.

“Robin likes him,” Much replied.

“But you’re not so sure?”

“No, there’s something not quite right about him. He says that there are other groups who share our aims and that they’ve sworn an oath to work together. He wants Robin to swear a similar oath.”

“Do you think he will?” When there was no reply, Guy said, “Much!”

“Yes. The Oathbringer says that these groups have all heard of Robin and want to join with him and how we’ll be more powerful together. But I don’t understand why we haven’t heard of these groups before.”

“A very good question.”

“No-one else thought so.”

“Hmm. While I’d be happy to see Hood tied to an oath he later regrets I fear it could cause trouble for all of us. I think the oathtaking ceremony better be disrupted. And with any luck it will cause the Oathbringer to show his true hand.”

Thank you very much. The whole idea is designed to appeal to Robin, but Much takes a simpler view of things.

Oooh, political intrigue and adventure! I like this a lot. Of course Guy will do the right thing even if he doesn’t like Robin. Thank you so much for the fill!

Thank you. Guy will do the right thing, because it's for the greater good.
