Monday - Misheard Lyrics
Dec. 13th, 2021 07:20 amSalutations, Theydies and Gentlethems! I’m
momma_66 and today's theme is Misheard Lyrics.
A long time ago, in an era far, far away...one could not simply google lyrics and we didn't always have the songbook handy! Mistakes were made on exactly what did that artist just sing!?
Today's prompts should feature your favorite misheard lyrics!
Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the above mentioned spoiler cut.
Prompts should be formatted as follows: [Use the character's full names and fandom's full name]
Fandom, Character +/ Character, Prompt
Some examples to get the ball rolling...
+ Any. Any & Any, "you thought the lyrics were what!?"
+ Any, Any & Any
"It's been no bed of roses, no glass of rosè-"
"That's not what he says."
Queen, We are the Champions
+ Any. Any + Any, "Jesus take the wheeeeeel…"
"What, no, it's 'take the weak'"
Arguments ensue
We are now using AO3 to bookmark filled prompts. If you fill a prompt and post it to AO3 please add it to the Bite Sized Bits of Fic from 2021 collection. See further notes on this new option here.
Not feeling any of today’s prompts? Check out the just created Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet. For more recent prompts to write, you can also use LJ’s advanced search options to limit keyword results to only comments in this community.
While the Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet and LJ's advanced search options are available, bookmarking the links of prompts you like might work better for searching for in the future.

Fill: The Morning After
Date: 2021-12-13 08:44 pm (UTC)Eddie groaned as he woke up. He was sore all over, although it was a pleasant soreness. One he hadn't felt in a long time.
Buck snuffled next to him and his arm tightened about Eddie's waist. Buck was warm and comfortable in back of him but Eddie's bladder was being insistent. He eased himself out from under Buck's arm, putting his pillow in his place.
He used the bathroom, took two tylenol, and used a warm washcloth to take care of what they hadn't cleaned up last night. He'd have to find the towel Buck had dropped haphazardly next to the bed at some point.
Coffee. Coffee was a good idea. Eddie ducked into the bedroom long enough to grab sweatpants. Buck was still sleeping soundly.
Eddie was stirring batter for pancakes when he heard Buck shuffling through the house. He listened as Buck used the bathroom and then went back to the bedroom. Buck shuffled out in Eddie's sleep pants and immediately glommed onto Eddie's back.
"You left," Buck whined.
"Coffee."
"Oh. Right. Yeah, that would be good," Buck nodded without otherwise moving.
"And pancakes."
"You can make pancakes?"
"Don't sound so surprised that I can cook," Eddie grinned.. "I've been feeding me and Chris for a while."
"Oh. Yeah. Okay."
"Get some coffee," Eddie said gently. "Pancakes are almost ready." He had set the table while the griddle had been warming up.
"Mmm... pancakes," Buck hummed.
"If I burn these, it's your fault," Eddie warned as he flipped the pancakes over.
"Okay." Buck straightened slightly. He kissed the top of Eddie's shoulder and then wandered over to the table. He poured a cup of coffee for himself and then one for Eddie.
Eddie dished up the pancakes and sat at the table. "Thanks."
"Hey, thank you," Buck said. "I had a great time. Ten out of ten, would do again."
"Kind of rusty," Eddie blushed. "Been a while..."
"Hey, it was good and don't let anyone tell you otherwise," Buck said firmly, pointing his fork at Eddie.
"Just, well, I heard stories about your first year at the 118," Eddie admitted. "You're kind of a legend, you know."
"Ha! That was a fun time but I'm glad I gave it up," Buck admitted. "And I am so glad this isn't a competition, you'd certainly give me a run for my money. For someone who thinks they're rusty, you really rocked my world."
Eddie felt himself blush.
"Eat breakfast," Eddie said. "We have a few hours before Chris gets home and I was hoping for another round."
Buck grinned. "You'd tempt a saint." He leaned in for a quick kiss. "I'm so lucky."

Date: 2021-12-14 03:55 am (UTC)Summary: Making it through a fire always gives Eddie a sense of stillness and he wants to share that with Buck.
Notes: hope I did okay. I haven't seen this show since the first season.
Eddie paused to let the moment wash over him. After a fire was contained and beaten back, there was this strange stillness that settled over him. Not always of course. That odd sense of peace was usually absent if someone had been killed or badly hurt by the fire but ones like tonight, where only property was damaged the stillness reigned. He wrinkled his nose thinking about it. There really wasn’t anything that was still. Firefighters milled about, now cleaning up their equipment. Spectators hung around the edges, engaging in that weird human compulsion to rubberneck at a tragedy.
He had work to do but he could take this moment to drink in that subtle sensation. Somewhere in the chaos he was tuning out was Buck. Eddie hadn’t seen him but he knew he was there and that he was okay. None of the firefighters had been harmed thankfully. Smoke still hung in the air, curling around the street light’s yellow glare. The air stank and humidity from their hoses tongued his hot skin.
Smiling when Buck crossed through a beam of light, hopping around a hose being reinstalled on the truck, Eddie went to meet him only to be stopped when someone called his name.
“Diaz, you gonna day dream or are you going to help?” one of his teammates called merrily.
“Yeah yeah, I will but first “Scuse me while I kiss this guy.”
Eddie grabbed Buck by his gritty jacket and hauled him in for a kiss. He smelled of smoke and sweat but Eddie didn’t care. He and Buck had made it out of another fire alive and well and that was all that mattered.

Date: 2021-12-13 10:45 pm (UTC)A small tingle of pleasure curls hot in Buck's belly. He has one last orgasm within him before his heat cycle is done. Eddie rubs his cheek against his belly, and Buck arches his back and moans, he shoves his fingers inside his slick hole, finger-fucking himself as he is quivering with the need to come. He is burning up, smoldering hot pleasure vibrates through him.
Eddie has come enough times that he is satisfied, even as his mouth is watering with the sugary sweet scent flowing from his omega. Buck drips slick, his flushed cock throbbing with the need to come again, fever-hot and delirious, and Eddie enjoys making his mate come. He desires to get Buck off one last time.
Eddie moves down Buck’s beautiful body, pressing baby soft kisses to the warm skin, and when he reaches his mate's cock, he licks the throbbing flesh. A roaring fire flames through Buck, his hips push towards the heat of Eddie's mouth, and his alpha takes him in, sucking on the hardness. He bobs his head and sucks, lips wet and pink, wrapped snug around his mate's hardon. Buck was not going to last; the pleasure was far too strong.
He leaks slick all over his fingers, creating a creamy wet spot between his thighs as Eddie is working to get him off quickly, wanting to hear the moans of pleasure that sound so sweet.
With Eddie's mouth working his throbbing cock, and Buck fingering his wet hole, Buck was helpless to stop his climax, and his body tenses up, and he started moaning, coming as Eddie sucks him off. When Eddie pulls off and slowly crawls up his body, all Buck desired was one sinful kiss, but he...
Buck wakes from the dream, crying into the sheets when he realizes it was only a dream. Eddie is only his friend, not his mate. The omega is alone in his lust, and Buck whimpers, desperately craving the one thing his heart and body cannot have.
♥ END ♥
