Date: 2022-09-30 03:38 pm (UTC)Overdramatic as it sounds, Barbara would stand by the statement in a court of law. The sharp, stabbing pains running down her abdomen and extending through her legs are so strong as to dampen everything else around her. Her surrounding apartment is nothing but a dimly lit blur. Distant noises, nothing more than audio abstracts, crackle in her ears. All that she can really comprehend are the screams of dead nerves, the ghosts that wander what's left of her legs.
