classics_lover your benevolent dictator for the week and today's theme is Drabbles. Prompts may be anything but fills MUST be 100 words or multiples thereof. Have fun!
Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the above mentioned spoiler cut.

Date: 2022-10-30 06:34 am (UTC)In modern witchcraft, a full moon means forgiveness and release. She says it doesn’t have to be both. She’s here to release, but never forgive. What he did to her she will never forgive. All that pain, the way he destroyed her life… He doesn’t deserve forgiveness.
So she will not give it. But she will do her best to release. The longer her trauma holds her, the more power he has over her.
She closes her eyes and takes a deep breath, ready to begin the ritual.

Date: 2022-11-25 02:16 pm (UTC)"'We?'" Billy cocked his hip, slipping a hand into his back pocket. He made a show of looking around. "Is King Steve using the royal 'we,' now?"
"What are you--?" Steve shook his head, turning to stare at Billy. He waved the radio in his hand for emphasis. "I was talking to someone. Not myself, and definitely not you."
"That's not..." Billy started with a soft laugh, one brow arching, but Steve was already walking away.
"And stop calling me that."
"Of course, Your Majesty," Billy said as he fell into step beside Steve, sans the stomping.
"Seriously, quit it."
"As you wish, Your Grace."
"It's not funny, Hargrove."
"I'm not laughing, Sire."
"Oh my god." Steve rolled his eyes and his head for good measure. "I swear, if the next thing out of your mouth is 'My Liege,' I'm gonna--!"
Steve had seen the broken concrete coming, and yet he still stumbled over it, rolling his ankle and beginning to fall elbow first. But he didn't fall.
"Uh. Thanks." Steve glanced down to where Billy's hand covered his around the radio. "You saved this, too? That's, uh, great. Saved me from getting an earful."
Steve continued rambling a little as Billy put him fully right-side up and let go. He didn't move away.
"Don't mention it," Billy finally replied, and Steve froze in place. The motion was short and subtle, but there was no mistaking it, especially with the way Billy held Steve's gaze as he spoke.
Billy had bowed to Steve. Steve had seen a millisecond of Billy as a knight kneeling before him. It was worse than the words he hadn't said. Almost immediately, Steve's skin grew hot.
"If I'm King Steve," he declared flatly, "then you're Squire Billy."
Billy's jaw dropped. Then his brows.
"No, wait--"
(Does Steve know what the royal "we" is? Maybe yes, maybe no. Reader's choice. 6^^; And alas, I wanted more words for the Billy Squier joke. >:P)
