4bdnsn0wflake here again, bringing you a new theme.
Which is 3 Sentences. Prompts can be anything your heart desires, but fills should be three sentences long, or multiples thereof.
Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and the fandom's full name
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the above-mentioned spoiler cut.
Prompts should be formatted as follows: [Use the character's full names and fandom's full name]

Fire in the OR, of course — when there are metaphorical fires everywhere else why not add a literal one to the mix — something to keep everyone awake going into their 19th straight hour of surgery.
Margaret brooding over a letter — from home or from Tokyo, take your best guess — snapping at everyone who crosses her path until she breaks down over her coffee and finally accepts a hug, all while insisting through tears that she’s all right, never mind, she’s perfectly all right.
And Hawkeye, Hawkeye, always Hawkeye — cause and effect, question and answer, chaos and catastrophe and calamity and peace, peace, peace.

Date: 2023-08-11 11:29 pm (UTC)As Christmas came to town, the joy it brings, was like living in a fairytale. She loved to go to the mall and watch all the children light up at the sight of Santa sitting in the big red chair, how they would giggle and grin for the photo then tell Santa what they wanted for Christmas.
She couldn’t stop smiling as she sipped her hot chocolate as all the innocent children gave Santa a hug and waved goodbye, promising to be good so they would get lots of presents. She volunteered at the local gift shop, kitting hats and scarves to give to people who were less fortune than her. It made her warm happy to give a gift to those in need.
But as time tiptoed by and Camille grew into a young lady, Christmas lost its joy. After her parents were murdered, she swore she would never celebrate again.
She thought her heart was too damaged to find joy in the holidays. Yet, as she sits in the cabin with Duncan, wearing one of his warm hoodies, Camille gets this happy tingle in her heart. The weather outside was frightful, but the fireplace crackling softly was so delightful. Duncan doesn’t mind the cold, he is used to it, but she is not in favor of the cold snap. Her toes freeze until he passes her a pair of fuzzy socks, and she grins because they have dog paw prints on them.
He cut down a tree for her to decorate, and when she digs out a string of lights from the messy box, she wraps them around the tree and her smile grows a little brighter. He doesn’t have an ornament, but he buys her popcorn for them to make string decorations with to wrap the branches with.
"Can you lift me up?" Camille asks as she holds the sparkling star in one hand, and she balances carefully when he grips her tiny waist and hoists her up so she can place the star on top of the tree.
That night, as the weather grows terrible cold, she snuggles up beside him. He gives off heat like a furnace, and Camille lays her head on his chest as he hugs her.
"Are you warm enough?" Duncan doesn’t wait for her to reply, instead, he tucks the big soft blanket over her shoulder, and she hums happily, nuzzling his chest. "Very warm. Thank you." He gives her a little hug and kisses her cheek, and she grins so fondly her cheeks warm rosy and pink.
She is thankful that even after the heartbreak she endured, she is blessed to be able to spend the holiday with Duncan. In past years, she didn’t want Christmas Day to arrive, fearing another day of tears without her parents, but now as the lights from the tree twinkle so pretty and she is kept warm from the cold, cuddled up in his tender arms that give her the best hugs, she doesn't want it to end.
