Hey, everyone! I'm templefugate, your host for the week. If you're anything like me, then what you really want to be doing on a Monday is to be sleeping in. Well, I can't do that. Still, that won't stop me from thinking about the best part of sleep: Dreams! Today's prompt theme is dreams. Prompts can have anything to do with them, both literal and metaphorical.

Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the above mentioned spoiler cut.

Even when the day is exhausting and the weight of the world seems to lay heavy on his shoulder, Buck knew he had a reason to smile…He could always come home to Eddie, who would wrap him in a gentle hug and kiss him tenderly, and if they were together in their home, sweet, home he was safe.

It was like being in heaven, the way Eddie's love was felt in the brush of his hand gently palming Buck's cheeks as he leaned into kiss him softly, how his beautiful eyes speak of such fondness that Buck becomes breathless.

Eddie pulls their lips together in a feather soft sweet kiss, and Buck's tummy flutters with butterflies as a bright, joyful smile warms his face. Buck is tired from work and daily stress, but then he cuddles close to his Eddie and his heart is suddenly light as a feather, smiling when Eddie keeps running his fingers through his hair, and he grins sleepy at his boyfriend.

Sometimes the world is so dark that Buck's fears catch up to him as he tries to sleep. The haunting thoughts of losing Eddie on a call, of not being there to save him when he needs an angel, spreads like a wildfire coursing through his mind. He trembles, fearing the darkness as he fights to draw in a shaky breath of air that is not there. His heart beats like a battle drum; if he were to put his hand over his heart, he swears he could feel it kick harshly.

But Eddie hugs him and promises they will always be together, safe, and for just a moment in time, the world is so perfect, peaceful and soul-soothing.

He sleeps peacefully that night, and come morning when they are huddled up under a soft blanket, Buck watches Eddie out of the corner of his eye, taking in the soft smile on his sweetheart's lips, a little grin that matches his own.

Safe, blissful, heavenly. Home, sweet, home is what he feels when he is with Eddie. All the stress and fright fades away and like the clouds parting on a dreary day, the sun sparkles and warms his soul.

When Eddie wakes up and kisses him good morning a loving, gentle touch that promises “I will always be with you,” like magic, all the anxiety in Buck's heart shoos away, and he lays his head upon Eddie's chest and smiles blissfully, giving Eddie a loving hug.
