drabblewriter and today's theme is non-romantic relationsnips. Today is for all types of non-romantic relationship – platonic, parent-child, siblings, team, found family, mentor-mentee, or anything else you can think of.
Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and the fandom's full name
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the above-mentioned spoiler cut.

Date: 2023-05-31 12:27 am (UTC)Rey scowled back for a split second then rearranged her face into something more pleasant. "It was fairly easy," she said. "After I did some digging. And had a little help from Chewie."
Chewbacca chuffed; he'd not really offered that much help. Just a ship and piloting skills.
The old man cocked an eyebrow at the Wookiee who continued chuffing for a few more seconds. The old man sighed and shook his head.
Rey opened her mouth and shut it again when Chewbacca gave her an almost imperceptible headshake. Or maybe his fur flew a bit. Anyway.
"I've had apprentices before," the old man said. "Wasn't planning on taking a new one on now." He eyed Rey. She squared her shoulders automatically. The old man snorted and turned back to Chewbacca. "Are you sticking around for this or...?"
A gargle, a growl, a huff.
"Hmm." His mouth twisted a bit. "We don't have a whole lot of provisions here."
Chuff, chuff.
"I suppose."
Rey gave a little shake, like coming out of water cold water (or how she'd imagine it might feel, having grown up in a desert). "I'm right here.."
Both turned to her. Chewbacca let out a low wail. The old man cocked an eyebrow. "I agree."
"Agree? That's further from the truth than - than -" Rey sputtered.
The old man pointed a finger at her and she shut up. "There's a bunch of stone huts. You can pick one to live in. Training starts early tomorrow morning. Before sun up. You get to provide breakfast for all of us. Something decent."
Rey blinked. "Breakfast?"
Skywalker rolled his eyes up. "I had some peace and quiet," he muttered. "Breakfast, or do you not eat it?"
"I eat breakfast! When I can afford it."
"You can afford it here. Even if you have to fish for it." Skywalker waved at her. "Tomorrow. Before daybreak. Breakfast." He turned and walked away.
Rey stared after him for a second, then turned to Chewbacca. "Does this mean he's going to train me?"
It was Chewbacca's turn to roll his eyes.
