shiny_glor_chan back again for my last day of guest hosting this week! Hope you guys enjoyed the themes! Today's theme is 'Stranger in a Strange Land.' Sometimes characters end up places they just don't belong. Like traversing the multiverse, ending up elsewhere by way of crossover, crash landing on a strange planet, dying and finding out that they didn't end up where they though they would, and the list goes on. Take the theme as you will. <3

Paradise

"What the fuck! Where the hell am I.....aww hell no."

Gabriel awakes to Paradise. Literally. There's an angel, some mindless drone who Gabriel's never met, hovering over him.

Heaven? Seriously? He leaves the palce, he becomes a Norse god, he blasphemes and sins in every way he can think of. So of course he's in Heaven.

Well, it's not what he had in mind when he set up this whole "escape death and make Lucifer think he's dead" scheme, but he can feel the pulse of Lucifer's sword in his hands and knows that at least one thing is working out.

That's right, Lucifer's sword. Bastard had been so busy feeling guilty that he hadn't noticed Gabriel snagging his sword on his way out. No one ever seemed to remember that Gabriel was the fastest of all angels, right up until they were trying to hit him.

Now Gabriel has two swords and Lucifer has a fake and a lot of guilt, and all is right in the world. Except that he is in freaking Heaven. And he needs to get back to Earth and retrieve his spare vessel.

And he can hear all of his brothers if he lets himself think about it, he can feel his family and part of him wants to stay here, where he is supposed to belong. But the world is calling him.

Gabriel flies down to Earth, and if he listens to the songs of angels on his way down, it's only for a millionth of a second. He is fast.
