Hi everyone! I’m chibifukurou and this will be my last day of enabling your comment_fic addiction.

Today’s theme is Food. Turn your favorite character into a kid and have them indulge in a peanut butter and jelly sandwich or break out the jello shots, the possibilities are endless

Torchwood, Myfawny, her first chocolate bar.

One moment she was flying about the skies over the seacoast, watching the waters for water breathers or young long-necked flat-feet, the next she was circling over grassland. The briny smell of the big water gave way to the sweet green scent of grass and the dark, damp scent of earth. Short-legged creatures covered with rough-looking white skins munched on the grass, but as she swooped in closer for a second look and to scent them, they emitted a sudden blatting call and ran from her. A creature in odd flapping skins walking on two legs ran after them, dropping a brown packet, emitting an angered noise, while a shorter animal on four legs ran after the rough coated animals, running about them as if trying to collect them.

Oh, these were delightful things to chase! Emitting a cry meant to startle the animals. she swooped in over them, close enough to brush the head of the upright creature, knocking some odd skin from its head, but not causing it to bleed. Most peculiar. The rough skinned creatures blatted and zig zagged over the grassy ground.

Then she smelled it: the briny scent of the flesh of water breathers. She circled, pinpointing the scent and locating the brown packet, like an odd seed pod. She moved in, pecking at it, breaking the husk open. Besides the flavor of water breather, she tasted something else, something that moved smoothly over her tongue, but which excited her senses. She pushed aside more of the husk, finding the source of this taste. It belonged to a square thing, the color of the earth but with a smooth texture, a substance that felt hard but which, as she pecked off a piece and scooped it up, turned smooth and soft like wet earth only lacking the grit.

The scent reminded her of flowers, only darker, as if might be some dark flower nectar collected perhaps by yellow stingers. Perhaps this place had more of it? No matter, water breather flesh first, then to hunt for more dark flower nectar....
