In regards to this post, we are going to give the modified posting schedule (Sunday: Lonely Prompts and share fills from the previous week; Tuesday/Thursday: new prompts; Saturday: Free For All) a shot in January. There's still time to vote in the poll and comment on the linked post.

The week of January 21-27, 2024 I will put up another post for everyone to leave their comments about how the new hosting schedule.

There are over 2000 members and over 2300 people who watch. I know not all of them are active on LJ let alone in this group, but I'd like to have the input of more than 15 people.

Sounds good to me. The comm slogan will have to change eventually... Hmm, maybe "New prompts regularly to whet your appetite!" or "New prompts thrice a week to whet your appetite!"...? 6^^; XD

I hope more people check in here during the next month and respond to the next poll.

hi! I know I haven't been around much, I got sucked into a new fandom almost 2 years ago and these days all my creative energy goes there. I do love this comm though and hope to see it continue and possibly even thrive more! Are you actively looking for strategies to recruit more people, like is anyone active on tumblr who would want to promote this community there? I'm in a very active discord for my fandom but of course we all have interests outside the fandom, I think I'll plug this community in there to see if anyone is interested.

I'm trying to think of other strategies... Maybe going forward, it's part of the host's job to come up with more (like 5?) "any fandom" prompts to start the day; sometimes I come here like first thing in the morning looking for inspiration, but if only the host has posted so far and all/most of the prompts are for specific fandoms I don't know, I move on and have gotten out of the habit of checking back during the day.

Anyway, I think the new hosting schedule make sense!
