Can you belive it? It's a Friday again! To celebrate this awesomeness it is time for the weekly Free For All. You all know the drill, let your minds run free as long as you keep to the rules:

REDO! part 2 - FRM (slash, incest, blasphemy?)

Above him Castiel smiles slightly; whole and serene and alive. When he touches his face, Dean is almost afraid to breathe; but then the pain's gone and he can see again and there's only one thing that keeps running through his brain. It's the only thing he can say as he stands, uncertainly.

"Cas? Are you God?"

And then Cas smiles and before the angel says anything, Dean knows he's right. Holy shit, he's *right*.

"Yes, Dean. I am God. On Earth and walking with you. I have been from the beginning."

His head is reeling and he doesn't understand. He feels five again - or maybe he's four; like when his Dad picked him up and spun him around until all there was was air and light and dizziness. Before demons and monsters and killing things. Before darkness and duty and a life devoted to it.

"You - you were on our side? The whole time?"

And Cas - God! - and suddenly Dean remembers all the human things he tried to get Cas to do - the drinking, the fighting, the *brothel*.

But God is smiling again, and it's still Cas's smile; still that soft, half-thing that Dean had come to count on in the last few weeks of dwindling options and frantic plans.

"I was and always have been, Dean. Why else do you think I came to you? Why else would I walk the Earth and not remain in Heaven, if I had not chosen a side?"

"Because your kids are dicks and there's not enough heavenly corners to duct tape them to?"

And he cannot BELIEVE he just said that. To God.

But God only smiled, and Dean found himself smiling, too, when He said, "I have been Castiel to you for far to long for me to expect or want anything less from you, Dean."

Well, good then. That was good...wasn't it?

But he was still at a loss. Still had a life of broken pieces to pick up. Still had to figure out where they - he, really, everyone else he cared about was dead - where he went from here. "So - now what?"

This time when God smiled it was with that sneaky little glance Cas had given him when telling him about Chuck's archangel. The smile he had used to prompt Dean into a way of saving Sam from Lilith.

"Now..."

Again that smile and Dean felt hope stir in his chest.

"Now I believe it's time for a redo. The perks of being the Almightly, Dean," God told him, "Is that you can hit the reset button when you don't like the ending."

With that he walked over to Bobby, the trench coat pooling around him as he leaned down and touched Bobby's forehead. Bobby stirred, gasping as life flowed back through him.

Dean felt the tears, relieved and bitter, thinking of Sam.

And this time Cas favored him with the look he used when he felt Dean was being particularly dense about something.

But instead of the lecture he was half expecting, Cas only cracked his knuckles and winked. "And now for the really impressive part. Redo, Dean. Not all sacrifices have to be for nothing. And I think you and Sam have suffered enough."
