Hey, guys!  It's your lovable host monica_catch22 with today's theme of Technology.

Now, this can be the woes of the internet being down, your computer just not working quite right... or this can be techno-joy for our favorite hackers or thieves, or whatever you want to put.

Now, just a reminder of the rules and to play nice:

Just remember, only three prompts in each fandom and five prompts in a row. If one of your prompts get answered you can prompt again.

Hehe, yeah, I figure if Cas has no idea how voice-mail works, he'd definitely have no idea what's going on with the "mysterious" texts showing up on his phone. XD

The day after Castiel takes Dean's necklace, Dean sends him a text. headin 4 westbrook fl. He gets no response and no call, but by now he's used to Castiel pulling vanishing magic and he lets it go. Texting Cas becomes something of a hobby, and it's comforting, like sending in status reports.

And, okay, maybe the thought of keeping Castiel company on his search for God is kind of warm'n fuzzy, but Dean's never going to admit to that, not as long as he's alive.

It keeps on for three weeks; Dean sends steady streams of texts, some in proper English and some that look more like alphabet soup than actual words.

And then Castiel shows up and thrusts the phone into Dean's face. "This thing," he proclaims, "is haunted."

"Eh?"

"It cheeps at me. I can't turn it off." Castiel pushes the phone at Dean again. "We could try – ah, we could try telegramming? That was a lot less bothersome and noisy, as I recall. This is ridiculous. Did you not check for lingering spiritual energy?"

Dean blinks at him, long and slow. "Cas?"

"Yes?"

"What the fuck are you on?"

"Dean, I do not understand why—"

"Cas." Dean opens the phone, sees that all 392 text messages he has sent Castiel are still sitting in his inbox, unread. "It's not haunted. I was sending you text messages so you knew where we were."

Castiel peers at the phone. "Why does it chime at me?" he asks plaintively. "I didn't ask it to, and I do not need it to unless someone is attempting to conta—"

"I was attempting to contact you, moron." Dean rolls his eyes and hands it back. "It was me. Sending you texts."

"… Ah." Castiel's expression dips. "Well."

Dean goes back to his beer, ignoring Sam's snickering. At least his brother holds off until Castiel is gone to say: "Guess that knocks out sexting, huh."

"Fuck you, Sammy."

This made my morning! LOL, aw Cas, it cheeps & chimes at you because Dean caaaares. REALLY cares, apparently, 'cause that's a lot of texts to send in 3 weeks.
