comment_ficHappy Friday everyone! I hope the week has treated you well, and the weekend is almost here. Which makes the Free For All perfect right? As usual, all fandoms, pairings, and prompts are welcome today.
Just remember to follow our normal rules:
No more than 5 prompts in a row, 3 prompts per fandom. If someone answers your prompt, you can prompt again.
No spoilers in your prompts for at least 1 week following the original air/publication date. If your response includes spoilers, warn in bold and leave at least 3 spaces.
Please remember to format your prompts correctly. For example:

Thanks so much! I've been working on a HT/PD crossover for the last three weeks, so I've got both shows on the brain; there's just too much potential hilarity for their 'verses not to meet.
I'm still debating whether or not Guerrero would make a pass at Olive. If he did, I feel like she'd be horrified more than flattered.
In fact, that sounds like another prompt right there. XD

Date: 2010-06-04 08:21 pm (UTC)They fall into the cage and Lucifer feels Sam let go of his control. The human's consciousness is fading and Lucifer finds himself a little sad, almost, to lose the boy. The hands that are now solely his are fisted in Michael's clothes, gripping his brother tight as they fall into the darkness and Lucifer hates Michael - hates him - because Michael never stood up for Lucifer, not when it truly mattered...
...But he hates the darkness and the cold oblivion of the cage even more and Lucifer clings to his brother.
Michael fights to pull away and fights to land punches and claw at Lucifer. He's screaming at Lucifer, cursing him and damning him (been there, done that, brother) and still Lucifer holds on tight.
And slowly Michael stops fighting. They don't know if they're falling anymore or if they're just hanging there, motionless in nothingness. And an hour or a millennia later, Michael's arms creep around Lucifer's shoulders.
"Please," Lucifer whispers into the deafening silence. "I don't want to fight anymore. Can't we..."
"...Just pretend?" Michael asks just as quietly. He ducks his head into the space between Lucifer's neck and shoulder and he holds on tight. "Just pretend this never began?"
"Please?" Lucifer begs, the little brother asking his big brother to make the monsters go away, and Michael sighs and strokes his fingers through Lucifer's hair.
"We can try, brother-mine," Michael says. "We can try."
