Happy Friday everyone! I hope the week has treated you well, and the weekend is almost here. Which makes the Free For All perfect right? As usual, all fandoms, pairings, and prompts are welcome today.

Just remember to follow our normal rules:

No more than 5 prompts in a row, 3 prompts per fandom. If someone answers your prompt, you can prompt again.

No spoilers in your prompts for at least 1 week following the original air/publication date. If your response includes spoilers, warn in bold and leave at least 3 spaces.

Please remember to format your prompts correctly. For example:
Invisibles, King Mob, releasing the sigil (well, it could be as dirty as you think)

Dresden Files/Supernatural, Harry/Dean/Sam, the vessel for who??

Nothing striking your interest today? Slide on over to our lonely prompts and see if something there can strike your interest!

Happy writing. :D

I'll have it up tonight or tomorrow, if that's okay?

Filled. Part 1/2

Going to split this into two parts, since i've got a bitch of a headache, but i wanted to get something up for ya.

Also. Um. It's almost..lacking crack?

Dean Winchester, as much as he denied it, was born into this life. He fought his past tooth and nail, denying his family history, denying his family.
Destiny, his assistant, Castiel would say in his too-low gravel, eyes bright and knowing as he regarded Dean. Dean would tell him he was full of it, and to pass the monkey wrench.

He was Dean Winchester, small town car mechanic, nothing special. No one special.

That was then.

He was opening his shop, when Castiel spoke up from behind him.

“You are needed.”

Dean jumped. His assistant was a sneaky one, and Dean was pretty sure the guy slept in the shop. “A little warning, next time, will you?”

Cas nodded, and remained silent while Dean got ready for the day. “There is a problem with the abomination.”

Dean nearly dropped his tools at this. “Cas, what have I told you…” he hissed. The ‘abomination’, as Cas tactlessly put it, was Dean’s little brother- if you could call six and a half feet of adult male little.

“I apologize,” Cas said, sounding anything but. “Sam woke up.”

Sam woke up. Sammy, who had tumbled over a guardrail on the highway trying to get some guy named Nick not to jump, but got pulled after when Nick did jump.
Sam, who the doctors pronounced brain dead at the hospital, and left for Dean to decide his fate.
Sam, who was currently in the basement of a car repair shop in the middle of nowhere, hidden away while Dean used all the demonic rituals he’d grown up learning about preventing in a life he’d tried to deny to bring Sam back.

Sam was awake.

Dean rushed downstairs, ignoring Cas, who followed him silently.

The basement was in shambles, but Dean could make out distorted groans of confusion, and in the dark was the large form of his brother, pressed against the wall.

“Easy, Sam,” Dean said, soothingly. “Easy, buddy, it’s me. It’s Dean.”

Sam turned to Dean, blinking.

Behind Dean, there was a soft scuffle as Castiel moved to a beat up cassette player, going through tapes that Dean had constantly played while his brother was asleep.

“He’s alive, Cas,” Dean breathed out, quietly.
Sam regarded Dean, curiously, a hint of recognition in his eyes.

Dean stepped forward, carefully, as Sam shuffled toward Dean.

“Sammy.”

It was the heat of the moment
Telling me what my heart meant
The heat of the moment showed in your eyes
The cassette player suddenly blared out.

Dean jumped, and spun to glare at Cas, who’s eyes widened, slightly, guilty.

Sam covered his ears, and howled.

"He really doesn't like that song," a new voice spoke up.

Dean jerked from trying to calm his panicked brother, to see a gorgeous blonde woman with the most fantastic breasts Dean had ever seen, and perched on the edge of Sam's bed.

A blonde that Dean was sure as hell wasn't sitting there a second ago.

It was Castiel's soft intake of breath that broke the sudden silence, eyes on the woman.

"Gabriel."

It ends up that the hot blonde isn’t even particularly hot, or blonde, or even female.

It ends up that while Dean’s music calms Sam, Asia’s Heat of the Moment sends him into an uncontrolled panic.

It ends up that Gabriel- the not hot, not blonde, not female- is a Grade A dick who just wanted to see Dean and Sam sing and dance in top hats to “Puttin’ on the Ritz,” and failed spectacularly.

“You always have to ruin everything by making things go your way,” Gabriel had complained, once Dean, Sam and Cas were in their rightful life, hunting bad guys and very much in one piece.

“You just couldn’t be a normal dick and just drop us into a musical,” Dean snapped. “Without making it about us?”

Sam was staring at Dean over Gabriel’s shoulder, silently willing him to shut up before Gabriel got any ideas.

Gabriel had just grinned, and wandered off, whistling, before fading.

“Now if you’re blue and you don’t know where to go to, why don’t you go where fashion sits. Puttin’ on the ritz.”
