The show is called Batman, it was supposed to be a edgy detective show, but it has turned into a soap’ opera. People tease Dick about staying on even after the writing style changed. Being type-cast as a soap’ opera star could ruin a career, but Dick didn’t care.

As long as he remained a member of the Batman cast he could be with Bruce, and that is all that mattered to him.
