Monday: Crossovers

Buffy Summers, Captain of the USS Enterprise. The X-Men joining the Justice League. Shinigami meeting Death himself.

That's right, today's theme is crossovers! Take two series and make them meet, in whatever way you like.

Just keep the rules in mind:

• No more than three prompts for the same fandom.
  
• No more than five prompts in a row.
  
• If one of your prompts is filled, you can prompt again.
  
• No spoilers in your prompts for at least a week after the airdate/release.
  
• Warn for any spoilers for your fic in bold and leave at least three spaces before the text.

And don't forget to save our code monkeys some grief - follow the format!

Sherlock/Supernatural, Sherlock and Castiel, "I do not understand that reference"

How could I possibly resist this one?

Sam watches from the sidelines and marvels at how freaky it is that members of this odd team are so very similar. Dean and John are both bent over a map spread on the table, chatting away, while Sherlock and Castiel have taken a step back.

"Right," Dean declares, pointing at a spot on the map, "so you and Mr. Data over there will come in from this direction while the rest of us sneak in the back."

Watson snorts and looks over at his companion. "He rather is like Mr. Data, isn't he? Of course, yours is, too." He and Dean both seem to find this hysterical.

Sherlock looks over at Castiel inquisitively, but the angel just shrugs slightly. "I do not understand that reference."

"It must be something from pop culture." From the way Sherlock say the last two words, it's clear exactly how little he cares about information from that area.

"You are probably right," Cas agrees solemnly.

Sam just shakes his head. "Freaky."
