Good morning/afternoon/evening, everyone. I'll be your guest host for the week & I'll always try to post as close to 12am PST as I can (though of course there may be times when I fall asleep & post a little late... which is what's happening right now, please forgive me). Our first theme is TV Tropes. Invariably, all forms of entertainment media rely on tried-&-true creative devices to shape their stories, develop their characters, just get their points across, etc, & today we're using those tropes as prompts.

You can visit the TV Tropes site here & pick out any trope(s) you like. Careful, though - people sometimes get lost in that site, it's so vast & so awesome!

Please keep these rules in mind when posting prompts:
  • Only three prompts for the same fandom.
  • Only five prompts in a row (though if one of your prompts is filled, you can prompt again).
  • No spoilers in your prompts for at least a week after the airdate/release.
  • Warn for any spoilers for your fic in bold and leave at least three spaces before the text.
Prompt formatting examples (because proper formatting for the code monkeys is good manners):

Supernatural, Dean/Castiel, hands-on approach
Inception, Arthur/Eames, did I just say that out loud?
CWRPS/Supernatural, Misha/Castiel/Dean, the existence of an identical stranger should probably be a bit more upsetting... though, at the moment, Dean's having a hard time remembering why

Nothing really interesting you today? That's alright, there are plenty of Lonely Prompts out there waiting for love.

Alright, you crazy kids. Have fun!

Blow Me, Cas

Dean keeps forgetting to teach Castiel about sarcasm.

He does have to admit, though, this feels really good. A great way to relieve the stress of the impending apocalypse. And as he reaches the abyss, he thinks he must have been crazy to ever think he should set the record straight about sarcasm.

Though in retrospect, he does wish he had taught the angel about the appropriate time and place for this sort of thing.

Because the look of horror on everyone's faces as they had fled the room earlier had almost ruined the moment completely.

I started this before the other one but it's sort of happens to tie in.

~~~~~
"Was that okay?" Cas whispers into the back of Dean's neck. It was his first time topping Dean and he'd been really nervous.
"No, it was terrible," he says dripping with hazy orgasm-happy sarcasm. He turns over and to kiss Cas, but suddenly Castiel is nowhere to be seen.
"Cas?" He calls out tentatively, "CAS?!" he realizes faintly that his heart is racing, and he puts his face in his hands, "son of a fucking bitch."
~~~~~

"Well no wonder he disappeared! You asshole!" Sam punches him in the arm from across the table in the diner-of-the-week.

"Hey!" He rubs his arm, "how was I supposed to know, I mean..." it's kind of awkward to say but, "I thought it was obvious."

Sam glares at him, "Do you not remember when you told Cas to blow you? Remember how that turned out?"

Dean cracks a smile at the memory, it was one of the bright spots in his story of the apocalypse. His smile drops as he searches his memory for an instance where he might have explained that he hadn't meant to literally blow him (at least not in that moment). He realizes that he never corrected it, Cas may have even taken his enthusiasm as affirming that he had meant it.

"Fucking Shit."

~~~~~
After three weeks of calling Cas (he even got Sam to try a few times) he's thinking about trying to kill himself just so he can go yell at Cas in heaven.
More than anything he can't get the idea of his last time spent with Castiel out of his head.
Cas didn't fuck, he made love and just thinking about it made Dean feel embarrassed and angry and frightened and disgustingly happy all at once.
One night Dean is alone, and he doesn't even give a fuck why Sam was gone, he was busy working his way through a fifth of Jack and saying varied pleas to Cas.
Finally when there's about two inches left in the bottle, he mumbles, "I'm sorry, Cas."
~~~~

He passed out at some point, but he wakes up still slightly drunk but the beginnings of a headache in his head.

He sits up wearily about to grab for the bottle (no point in no finishing off the last little bit, when he notices Cas sitting on the bed.

It takes him a minute, possibly a couple of minutes, to fully process Cas's sudden return, he moves toward him, "Cas—"

"I have been doing research," Cas is looking at him with those eyes that promise really good things for Dean, but Dean has to set this straight.

"Cas, I didn't—" but Cas is already in his personal space kissing him quickly before moving on to other available parts of Dean's skin.

"Please Dean, I want to do this right," Cas's hands slip under Dean's shirt.

Another kiss and Dean's almost close to letting go, but he needs to tell Cas, "Cas, wait-ah-wait."

Cas looks at him sadly, like he's going to tell him to stop. Dean might kiss him normally when he makes that pouting face, but this is important.

"Cas, I've never taught you much about sarcasm, have I?"

Dean tries not to grin as Cas's brow furrows.

"You know sarcasm, it's when someone says something, but means the opposite, or sometimes they just don't mean it at all," Dean takes a deep breath, "like that first time when I said 'blow me' I didn't mean it, well not with Sam and Bobby were in the room." Cas is looking away feeling incredibly embarrassed, his hands pulling away from where he'd been petting Dean's back.

Dean turns him by the nape of his neck back to look at him, moving in closer, "so when I said that last time was terrible..." Dean gulped, this whole feelings thing was something he didn't usually do, probably why he'd been sarcastic in the first place, "I was trying to avoid saying outright that it was amazing, I mean," here he has to kiss Cas, he just looks...

"I mean," he begins again after he pulls back again, "I thought it was obvious."

"Dean?" Dean smiles at Castiel's blown pupils and leans in to tease a sensitive place on his neck, "I can make love to you again?"

Dean feels that warm mix of feelings from terrified to deliriously happy again. He slips his hands under Castiel's coat and suit jacket unbuttoning a few of his shirt buttons to access warm skin.

"What do you think?"
