Tuesday, 10/12/2010 - Beaches
Oct. 12th, 2010 07:32 amGood morning, y'all! My name is
jlsigman, and I'm your guest hostess for the week.
Today's prompt is: beaches. Places with sand, waves, nudists... Is it a vacation, a staycation, or a job?
As always, please keep the following few rules in mind:
- No more than five prompts in a row, and no more than three per fandom. Remember, as soon as someone takes on one of your prompts, you can pop another.
- No spoilers in your prompts for at least seven days after air; if there are spoilers in your fic, warn in bold in the subject line and leave at least three spaces.
- As a former codeslinger, I beg you to please do be kind to our codemonkeys and format your prompts correctly, like so:
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Kira Nerys, this place used to be beautiful
Final Fantasy VII, Zack/Cissnei, It was no hardship to keep an eye on him at Costa del Sol
tag=beaches

"Yeah, but does that mean you have to be so rough with me?" Richard asked.
"You like it rough. Stop complaining, whiner."
"WHOA! Way too much info, guys," Jensen said, sitting on a chair near the two lovebirds.
"Yeah, we kind of don't want to know what you like, Richard." Misha said.
"Then don't tell US what YOU like, boys." Richard said.
Misha shook his head. "We never do."
"Good. You never should," Jared spoke, wrinkling his nose in that cute "yuk" face Richard loved.
"Pretty fun day at the beach, eh?" Jensen said, changing the topic.
"Yep. Aside from me getting sunburned." Richard said.

Date: 2010-10-12 07:32 pm (UTC)The conferance had been a godsend to the two. They had been forced to cancel their last vacation together because of cases and they were practically crawling out of theirskin with the need to touch.
Now they strolled along the beach, hand in hand as they stared out over the moonlit water. It was very late and they needed to be up early.
"We should go." Ryan finally said, breaking the silence.
"Yeah... they'll be wondering where I am." Greg replied, slumping a little.
"Come home with me?" Ryan asked. 3..2..1... and there's my bouncy lover
"Great! Just let me..." And Greg fired off a text and dropped his phone back in his pocket.
They held hands as they walked back to Ryan's car.

Date: 2010-10-12 03:55 pm (UTC)"No, we'll beat you!" Richard said.
"Prove it!"
"We will!"

"Ours is better."
"No, ours is better!"
"We need an unbiased judge. Jim! Jim!"
"No, I'm NOT getting involved in your contest." Jim said,
"Please?" Jensen asked.
"You four sound like kids running to your daddy. Grow up! Jared and Richard's is better."
And Misha and Jensen pouted the rest of the day.

Date: 2010-10-12 08:28 pm (UTC)At least, it wasn't to anyone not Castiel.
"Marco!" Dean yelled.
He was promptly rewarded with two 'POLO!'s...not three.
Dean resisted the urge to open his eyes, well aware of getting a response from Sam and Gabriel, but not Cas.
"Marco!" Dean repeated, louder.
"Polo!" Sam yelled, then lowered his voice. "This is totally cheating."
Gabriel grinned, perched on Sam's shoulders, safely out of water. "If it helps, i did agree to no snapping."
"And you're going to hold to that?"
Gabriel just wriggled his brows, and clamped his legs more securely onto Sam.
After a few more rounds of 'Marco's and 'Polo's, Dean moved forward, bumping into Cas, who had yet to move away. "Gotcha, Cas. You were supposed to stay away from the guy calling Marco."
Cas didn't seem altogether surprised. "I understand that."
"So why didn't you move?"
Cas tilted his head at Dean, calm. "I was waiting for Polo to join us."

Date: 2010-10-12 04:41 pm (UTC)First though, Dean promised Castiel to do things the human way and when humans get married, they go on honeymoons. Which, should mean lots and lots of sex, but the minute Castiel first slipped his sandals off and wiggled his toes in the sand...
Well, Dean is still hopeful he’ll get laid eventually.
Castiel likes to stand in the water, ankle deep, and let the waves knock against him. There’s a beautiful smile on his face when he gestures for Dean, and for what feels like an eternity, they just stand side by side and let the water rush around them hand in hand. It’s just the two of them, which is why Dean is letting the chick flick moment slide, but he’s not even entirely sure where they are. They could be on the other side of planet for all Dean knows and cares.
”You ready to go, Cas?” Dean asks, glancing over at the angel and quirking an eyebrow. “I’m all about beaches but…”
”You are bored,” Castiel says simply, but he doesn’t sound offended. It’s just a fact. He squeezes Dean’s hand once before tugging the hunter after him. “There is one more thing I would like to do. I believe it is tradition.”
They’re still at the water’s edge, far enough to stay dry unless a strong waves rocks by. Castiel puts his hands on Dean’s shoulder and guides him to the ground and the hunter goes easily. He slips to his knees and lets his hands slide down Castiel’s chest and sides as he goes, before settling on his hips.
”Sit, Dean,” Castiel instructs. Dean’s confused, but he obeys, and he’s rewarded with Castiel bending over to kiss him before sitting on the sand as well. Castiel’s fingers trace Dean’s ankle sweetly. Then nothing. Castiel shifts to sit on his heels and his attention is focused on the sand before him, brow furrowed in concentration.
It takes Dean a minute to realize that, no, when Castiel said there was another tradition he’d like to fulfill he did not mean have sex on the beach. Dean would groan in exasperation, but there is something increasingly endearing about watching Castiel try and mold sand into a vaguely castle-like shape. “Want some help?”
Castiel looks up, startled, and the smile that spreads across his face is enough to steal Dean’s breath. “Dean,” he says, his eyes flashing brilliantly. There’s a blush spreading across Dean’s cheeks, he knows there is, but he doesn’t know when his name became synonymous with such undying love.
”Cas,” Dean agrees, and he closes the space between them to brush his lips against Castiel’s. It’s short and chaste, and Castiel makes a pleased sound. When they part, Dean catches Castiel’s wrist and brings that to his mouth as well, pressing a kiss against Castiel’s sandy palm and then the silver ring around his finger.
”There is one other tradition, I believe,” Castiel says when he turns his attention back to his castle, fingers slipping through the sand while he tries to pack it. “I would like to finish this castle, first.”
”Oh?” Dean asks. Their fingers bump while they work, and more often than not, Dean does it on purpose. It makes Castiel smile and it sends a thrill down Dean’s spine. “It’s getting a little late to try surfing.”
Castiel chuckles and when Dean looks up at him his eyes are dark. “I was thinking something a little more carnal.”
The look on Castiel’s face is dark and hungry and Dean just licks his lips. Words are escaping him at the minute but he doesn’t care. Dean just grins and turns his attention back at to the sandcastle. Castiel chuckles again, low and dark, but he turns his attention back to the sand before him as well.
It’s nearly dark when they finish, and it’s lopsided and looks more like a hill than a castle, but Castiel declares it “perfect.” Castiel practically tackles Dean then and pins him to the ground and their sandcastle is forgotten.
Dean can’t help but grin and think, oh yeah, the beach was a far better choice than Paris or something (even if he is going to have sand in places it has no right to be for the next million years).

Date: 2010-10-12 01:36 pm (UTC)Paradise - a far cry from the Jersey Turnpike.
A squawk from the police radio reminded him of why he was here - McGarrett. Climbing out of the car, Danny saw him emerging from the surf, wet hair plastered to his forehead, rivulets dripping down his chest. Danny’s gaze lingered on his trim waist and the long muscles in his thighs.
“Careful, you’ll catch flies,” Steve said, suddenly far too close.
Danny laughed nervously. “What kind of police officer are you, anyway? You’re supposed to be getting fat on donuts and coffee, not frolicking naked on a beach.”
Steve smirked and leaned one hand on the roof of the car, looming in close. “What, I’m not supposed to get exercise?” Some drops of water from his hair fell on Danny’s shirt.
Eyes flitting over Steve’s highly-defined abs, Danny huffed. “You’re getting me wet.”
“Wouldn’t want to get that precious tie wet now, would we?” Steve flicked up the bottom of Danny’s tie.
Their eyes locked for a moment.
“Next time, let me know before you run off for a tanning session.” Danny said, dragging his eyes away. “We found the suspect holed up in an abandoned warehouse. We’re going in.”
Steve straightened up, instantly all business. “Gotcha. Let’s get going.” He ran off to get his towel and things.
Danny watched his retreating back wistfully.
Paradise – land of temptation. Apparently there were some things you couldn’t run away from.
