Good morning, y'all! My name is [livejournal.com profile] jlsigman, and I'm your guest hostess for the week who is up way too early this morning thanks to a 6 month old kitten who loves the prompt. :-p

Today's prompt is: dawn. That wonderful time before the sun comes up. That terrible time when the night ends. Which way is it seen?

As always, please keep the following few rules in mind:
- No more than five prompts in a row, and no more than three per fandom. Remember, as soon as someone takes on one of your prompts, you can pop another.
- No spoilers in your prompts for at least seven days after air; if there are spoilers in your fic, warn in bold in the subject line and leave at least three spaces.
- As a former codeslinger, I beg you to please do be kind to our codemonkeys and format your prompts correctly, like so:

Any, any/any, Now started another long day
Final Fantasy XIII, Snow/Serah, Their first dawn together on Pulse
Godspeaker trilogy, Rhian/Alasdair, The dawn hid the damage from the invasion

Their Reward

Night shoots, they could agree, were a bitch. But on a show like Supernatural, they had more than their share.

Gabriel happened to be in this one, so they were finishing a scene together. Once the final "Print!" had been called, it was only an hour or so till dawn.

Jared turned to ask Jensen if he wanted to watch the sunrise, only to find him curled into a chair, already asleep. Misha was already walking off, phone pressed to his ear. Jared sighed with deep disappointment.

"Hey," Richard said, putting a hand on his shoulder. "Why so glum?"

"Wanted them to watch the sunrise with me," Jared moped.

"I'm not around enough, but I love watching the sunrise," Richard smiled. "C'mon."

They went outside and walked a little ways where they could sit together on a hillside overlooking the freeway. They spoke small-talk and drank beer that Richard had sticky-fingered from food services.

When the sun broke over the horizon and painted it with colours an artist would commit murder to duplicate, both men were struck absolutely speechless.

On their trek back to the set, Jared squeezed Richard's hand before releasing it. "Thanks, man."

"Anytime, Jare. Anytime at all."
