Thursday - Future, Present, Past

Moving this week right along, we come to Thursday, and today I'd like to play with time.

Future, Present, Past...could be someone gets stuck in the past, in their head or for real. Could be future version of someone comes back for a visit, to set something right or fix a mistake, or just to try to recapture a moment...could be a day that stretches on forever, or a moment that we want to....Have fun with it.

sometimes I really wonder about the ages of the writers of umm uniquely written fanfic. Especially from writers who have quite a long list of fics they've completed, but their writing style hasn't improved or changed from one story to the next.

I think I had a bad/restless night of sleeping. I woke up with a headache. oh and I broke the cover for the light in my room...but my light no longer flickers when I turn it on, so that's good. now I need to get a cover for it so it's not super bright. maybe i'll take advantage of the limited natural lightening we have.

think I'll get ready to go to work. reports aren't going to type and organize themselves...

oh and thanks to delicatale, I have a wonderful Jason Mraz song in my head. maybe I'll be inspired to write something.

never thought I'd do this

working on my fic for h50_exchange and I'm doing something I always hate in H50 fic - having Steve speak Pidgin. I don't recall him ever doing so on the show...there was that one time when he spoke to the surfer in episode 1.05 and told him "Danno don't surf" but that's hardly pidgin...in my fic Steve's done it several times in a conversation.

I might take it out. It doesn't feel like it's Steve.

n e ways. leaving the office since I have 90% of my work done. tomorrow should be a breeze *crosses fingers*

for every sad there really isn't enough happy

lately I've found that for every sad fic I read, I can't seem to find enough happy fic to read to make me feel better.

so I find myself re-reading fic that's made me happy in the past.

so a telemarketer called asking for me. I gave them the rejection hotline number.

"Is Lizet home?"
"This isn't her number anymore, but she said to give her new number to anyone who called asking for her."
"Oh that's great! can I have it?"

cross-eyed

I think I went cross-eyed trying to figure out the NJ train transit map.

Looking at it is scary, I can only imagine how it would  be to have to deal with it in person.

Los Angeles' train transit is much easier to navigate in my opinion.

Los Angeles' buses on the other hand confuse even me and I've been riding them since I was 17.
