Today will be my last day posting as host. I hope the changes are working for all of you! Soon I will be making mod announcements.

In honor of today being the first Friday the 13th of 2012, today's theme will be Superstitions.

All of those irrational beliefs about mirrors and black cats and ladders....you know them...and if you don't, HERE'S A LINK TO A LIST.

nearly every story I come across on AO3 has so much angst.

I want happy endings!

really doing nothing for my mood. so many sad sad sad feelings

Question for the writers out there

I have this fic that gnawing at my brain and I'm itching to work on it, but I have this weird...thing...where I can't work on a fic before I know certain things about it - characters, the BIG problem, overall flow, ending...TITLE.

And that's where I'm stuck. The title.

I think I have pretty much this entire story figured out, but the darn title. and leaving it as Untitled H50 AU Restaurant isn't an option. Like...at all. THIS NEEDS TO HAVE A TITLE. By May 1st.

Normally when I come up with a title, I use the line from a song that's the overall inspiration for the piece, or a line from the fic that's been simplified...but in this particular case, I don't think I can do that. And I'm not too fond of random titles that have nothing to do with the story either.

So my question to you fic writers is: HOW DO YOU COME UP WITH TITLES?

Thanks to everyone who gave their advice for titling their stories.

I now have a working title for my Untitled H50 AU Restaurant.

IF I decide to keep it, some might be confused as to what the fic is about, but it's just stupid enough that I happen to like it and it suits the overall theme of the fic.

so y'know, I'm thinking about keeping it.

well hello there

apparently there was a class action lawsuit against Chase Bank and I got a nice settlement.

nearly a week's paycheck!

but this is good!

I can deposit it and get my hockey tickets for Jan 22nd and not have to borrow money from my mom!

waiting to see if I get something back from the Walmart/Netflix settlement
