Friday: Superstitions

And here we are at Friday. I'm still badfalcon and today is my last day as guest host - thanks for having me, it's been a blast! :)

Today, considering it's Friday 13th, it's time for a little superstition in our lives. From not walking under a ladder or throwing salt over your shoulder, to not putting a hat on a bed or holding your breath as you go past a cemetary.

While we want to have fun we have to remember the rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts from one fandom at a time.
No spoilers in your prompt until at least one week after the original airing/publication date. If there are spoilers in your fic, warn in bold and leave at least three spaces

To make it easier on our code monkies remember the following format:
fandom(s), character or pairing, prompt

Here a Few Examples:
Supernatural, wee!chesters, You must hold your breath while going past a cemetery or you will breathe in the spirit of someone who has recently died.
Bones/CSI, Angela, If 3 people are photographed together, the one in the middle will die first.

I had to walk from the Jack in the Box to work in the rain because I missed the bus. No big deal. 3 blocks and I avoided the puddles and didn't get splashed by cars/trucks/buses due to flooding from poor drainage.

However, when I get to my office to sort the stuff in my pockets, THERE'S NO BUS CARD! I had it before I went in and I'm fairly certain I shoved it in my pocket when I saw the bus go by. So it had to have fallen out of my pocket while I was walking.

Now, instead of it costing me $5 for the whole day, I have to pay an extra $3 ($1.50 for 2 buses) and I have to make sure I make my connections or I'll be stuck in the rain. I don't have the luxury of riding whatever bus I want to stay out of the rain.

I'm about to retrace some of my steps to the office and hope I see it. If not, then that more than likely means my bus card when in the trash at Jack in the Box.



So much for having an uneventful Friday the 13th.

eta found it! walked across the street and it was in a puddle in front of someone's house. I only hope it still works!

I've been looking up songs that have one thing in common - RAIN

so be prepared for songs that feature rain in some kind of way. mostly weather and how it effect the emotions and whatnot.

writing a sex scene with Steve and Danny and I almost typed Steve as saying "God, Daddy" instead of "God, Danny"
