A very early morning to everyone - I'm still natural_blue_26 and I'm still your guest host for the week and today's comment_fic is all about the titles of your favorite movies...or just movie titles that stuck out to you for being something completely different.Think a certain character has a Braveheart or another has Never Been Kissed? Now would be the time to say so.

Back to Back (They Faced Each Other) by harrycrewe
Steve's a super awesome elite sentinel and Danny is totally his guide. Shaddup.

I thought that introduction and characterization of Lori totally fit in with the show. Putting the Sentinel/Guide part aside, she was acting like a bitter/jealous girlfriend or something. Danny and Steve were friends long before her and she thinks that because she's good on paper, that everyone should just step aside and let her and Steve be together. And she total stuck her nose where it didn't belong (like on the show when she tried to get into Danny's head within hours of them meeting each other).

Terrible habbit

I have a terrible habit of not remembering the fic I read.

Well, that's not entirely true. I do remember a lot of the fic I read either based on the title, summary or within the first few paragraphs.

However, there are some fics I will read the the very end and go to leave a kudo (on AO3), and find out that at some point in the past I had read it and left a kudo.

Maybe I should keep a list of fics that I've read, their summary and when I read them.

Author's Note 2: Written for 100 Things: a Blogging Challenge and for the Big Bang Challenge at h50land. willow_fae_20 originally prompted this: an AU where Danny still moves to Hawaii but 5-0 doesn't form. Danny keeps hearing about 'Miss Kono' who is Grace's surf instructor (to Danny's amusement, not chagrin -- he's more laidback in this 'verse). When he finally meets her sparks fly. Apparently it sort of ended with the potential for sparks flying.
Author's Note 3: Taking the scene from episode 1x01 where Danny and Kono meet on the beach
Summary: If his daughter thought Kono was “super cool, Danno!” who was he to argue with that assessment. Plus it didn’t hurt that she could handle herself against the big boys on the surf.
