Monday: Crossovers with a twist!

Happy Monday, y'all! It is I,
canonisrelative and I’ve got some weird themes for you this week so I hope you dive in with me, because despite the fact that I’ve got a very busy week ahead, I’m determined to write at least one fic every day. Probably short. No promises.
Theme #1: Crossover with a twist. I LOVE crossovers, but it seems like prompting crossovers is a crap shoot because with a smallish community like this the odds of someone being conversant in BOTH your prompted fandoms could be slim — so we’re shaking it up today! You-the-prompter will provide ONE fandom and a prompt, and the other fandom(s) is author’s choice. Optional: you can also prompt the genre of the second show.
For Example:
Leverage/Any, Parker + Author’s Choice, Parker and character of your choice know each other from back in the day, maybe from the foster system?
^ could be filled with literally Any Other Fandom Under the Sun (Parker and Theon Greyjoy were both Stark’s wards? Why not?)
Leverage/Any law enforcement or procedural show, Ensemble, The Leverage crew encounters the characters from the procedural show during a job.
^ could be filled with something like White Collar, Elementary, Hawaii Five-0, NCIS, Rizzoli & Isles, Bones…or even a time-traveling Miss Fisher!
Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the above mentioned spoiler cut.
Prompts should be formatted as follows: [Use the character's full names and fandom's full name]
Fandom, Character +/ Character, Prompt
Some examples to get the ball rolling...
+ Star Trek Voyager/Any space fandom, Kathryn Janeway + Ensemble, The crew of Voyager making contact with the characters from your chosen fandom.
+ Supernatural/Any non-Sci fi/fantasy fandom, Sam and Dean Winchester + any, The Winchesters giving the “Ghosts and demons are real” speech to characters who hadn’t previously believed in the supernatural. Who freaks out, who reacts better than expected?
+ His Dark Materials/Any, The non-HDM characters cross into the world of HDM and their daemons manifest.
We are now using AO3 to bookmark filled prompts. If you fill a prompt and post it to AO3 please add it to the Bite Sized Bits of Fic from 2022 collection. See further notes on this new option here.
Not feeling any of today’s prompts? Check out the just created Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet. For more recent prompts to write, you can also use LJ’s advanced search options to limit keyword results to only comments in this community.
While the Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet and LJ's advanced search options are available, bookmarking the links of prompts you like might work better for searching for in the future.
