Happy Tuesday, ladies and gents. I'm
havenward and I'll be covering today's theme. For today, we're going with Criminals and Crime. This can be playing with fandoms that focus in crime -be it causing it, solving it or stopping it- or crossovers or AUs where characters are criminals -a noir au perhaps, or dropping your favorite thief onto the Enterprise- or prompts involving crimes and criminals directly. The field is pretty open, so lets see what you've got!
Just please be sure to follow the rules:
No more than 5 prompts in a row, no more than 3 prompts per fandom. If someone answers a prompt, you may prompt again.
No spoilers should be used in prompts until 1 week after the original publication/air date. If you use spoilers in your response, warn in bold and leave at least 3 spaces.
Please remember to format your prompts properly, and don't make them overly long. For example:
Alright, let's see what you've got!

Leverage, Eliot/author's choice, ain't the only thing I stole, y'know? Not finding a prompt to your liking? Feel free to peruse the numerous lonely prompts just waiting for a good author.
Castle, Rick, you can't make this stuff up
Ocean's 11/new!Star Trek, Danny/Rusty/Kirk/Spock, you want me to believe what?
new!BSG/Leverage, Starbuck/Parker, it's not everybody that's capable of stealing a frakking Viper
Alright, let's see what you've got!

Date: 2011-03-23 01:08 am (UTC)But the Suit asked, and since he's the Suit, Mozzie goes.
The Suit's main base is better than most of the casinos in town, but Mozzie hates them all, so better doesn't mean much.
And to top it all off, the Suit isn't even there when the secretary lets Mozzie into the office.
Instead, there's a man, slender and elegant, leaning against the window, probably staring out at the Strip. He's wearing a fancy get up just like all the other suits, but Mozzie kind of likes the hat.
"Hello. Are you a new lackey?"
The man startles, turning so fast he almost trips himself, the apparent grace of his form gone for an instant. His eyes dart around the room, to Mozzie then away again, but a hard smirk stays on that too-pretty face. Mozzie takes in the sharp cut of his cheekbones and the way his suit hangs on him and downgrades "slender" to "way too thin".
Mozzie isn't actually sure what's going to happen next. Half starved pretty boys don't react well to surprises, in his experience, especially not Vegas ones. It doesn't matter anyway as the Suit comes in through a side door, breaking the tension.
"Mozzie. Meet Neal Caffrey. He's new around here and I thought you might be willing to play tour guide. Neal, this is Mozzie. He knows everyone and everything that happens in this town."
Mozzie can see the guy - Neal - assess him and then declare him harmless. Neal raises an eyebrow and shoots something like a genuine smile at the Suit.
"Knows more than you, Peter?"
The Suit smiles ruefully, no real offense in his reaction.
"Some days, yeah. So, go, have fun, don't get into too much trouble."
Mozzie didn't exactly agree to play babysitter, but when Neal turns that smile and those big blue eyes on him, he decides he can afford to look after the kid for a bit. Besides, the Suit taking in a new stray is always news, and Mozzie likes to keep up with the news.

Date: 2011-04-24 05:41 pm (UTC)He hadn't been called Vino for kicks. Of course, he wasn't called Vino anymore, but Felix didn't strike terror into the right people just yet.
Not like being Vino or Claire or the Rail Tracer had. But it was getting there and that was what counted.
He flicked a bit of skin out from under the nail of his ring finger and glanced around to see if anyone was still twitching. He seemed to be the last breathing.
It wasn't like he had much against thieves, even if it appeared that way. But one of these scum had tried to steal from his lovely fiancee and that just wouldn't do.
