And so the day you've been waiting for is here: the Friday Free for All. All fandoms, characters, and prompts are accepted today.
Just please remember to follow the usual rules:
No more than 5 prompts in a row, no more than 3 prompts per fandom. If someone answers your prompt you may prompt again.
No spoilers in your prompt until at least 1 week after the original air/publication date. If there's a spoiler in your response, you must warn in bold and leave at least 3 spaces.
Please remember to format your prompts correctly, and keep them to an appropriate length. For example:
Can't find a prompt to your liking? There's plenty of good ones hiding in the Lonely Prompts. Just keep in mind -- this weekend is a contest!
Happy weekend. :)

Castle, Rick/Alexis, face it - this isn't the worst thing you've caught me doing
Burn Notice, Fiona, better uses for soap
Dollhouse/Leverage, Topher/Hardison, complicated bit of coding
Justified/Wanted, Raylan, curve the bullet

Irony Bites, PG
Date: 2011-03-25 08:47 pm (UTC)“I’m gonna do it,” he calls over the sound of running water, so that at first Four can barely hear him from the stall beside him, “Shower, dress, ask out Six.”
“Whoa whoa,” he turns off the water and reaches for a towel, “You want to ask out Six?”
“Yeah,” Sam is still tying the knot on his towel when he rounds the corner, “So what?”
“Nothing.” Four answers neutrally, forcing his eyes to remain on Sam‘s face, feigning disinterest, “I just wouldn’t put you two together.”
“So you’re saying she’s out of my league?”
“Or you‘re out of hers.”
It slips out before he can think, before he can realize that half naked in a deserted shower stall with the guy he’s in love with isn’t the best time to start a conversation. But the thing is, the longer they fight side by side, the longer he goes to bed with Sam’s voice lulling him to sleep and his jokes giving him another reason to wake up in the morning? The harder it’s getting to deny that what he feels for the human isn’t just friendship but something else, something he thought he’d felt for Sarah but pales in comparison to the thought of not having Sam at his side day to day.
So for about ten seconds Four’s actually glad he said it. Glad to put an end to the tension he’s been trying to write off these past few months.
But that relief is gone when Sam seems to take it as purely a compliment and smiles, “Thanks, Four, you always say the right thing.”
And then Sam is gone, reaching for his clothes and no doubt on his way to talk to Six with newfound confidence.
Four lets his head tilt back with a groan, praying this ‘always saying the right thing’ deal doesn’t become a trend.
