Thursday Traps
Today our favorite characters are trapped, imprisoned, and locked in.
Are they in a bear trap? Fish net? Elevator? Elaborate Scooby Doo trap? Are they locked in a closet, with their in-laws, trapped in a cave in, caught under a falling tree, trapped in a blizzard with only one blanket? They even could be hunted into a dead end, imprisoned by their own fear, or having a rather sudden panic attack. Your choice!
Just please remember to follow the usual rules:
No more than 5 prompts in a row, no more than 3 prompts per fandom. If someone answers your prompt, you may prompt again.
No spoilers in your prompt until 1 week after the original air/publication date. If there are spoilers in your response you must warn in bold and leave at least 3 spaces.
Please remember our diligent code monkeys and format your prompts properly, including an appropriate length. For example:
Californication, Hank/Karen, No one is allowed to leave the party. It gets awkward fast.
X-Files/Law and Order: SVU, Elliot/Mulder, They fall into an empty pool and can’t get out.
If you can't find prompts you like today, feel free to check out our Lonely Prompts.

Date: 2011-04-22 12:12 am (UTC)He couldn't take it. The train wasn't fast enough, the radius's edges weren't far enough, and he just couldn't do it anymore. The anklet had stopped beeping half an hour ago, and he knew it was conserving energy to keep the GPS functioning. If his cell phone were on, it might have been ringing, but it was on the kitchen table with his keys and his wallet. He didn't know where to go - just let his feet take him. Shivering, he raised one hand.
He didn't know what he expected, but it wasn't Peter pulling on his jacket and opening the door just as he was about to knock. His fist, opening as it fell, came to rest softly against Peter's chest, his palm pressed against the hot muscle and flesh. The umbrella he had grabbed, fell quietly to the carpeted floor.
"I went for a run," his face was mashed into Peter's shoulder, his words muffled.
Peter's arms were warm around him. "I noticed. It's raining."
"I went outside my radius."
"You came back."
His voice hitched, and he buried his face further into Peter, trying to crawl into him. He had come back, and he didn't know why. He had the feeling, though, that if he knew, he'd never be able to leave.

Date: 2011-04-21 09:53 am (UTC)The Unconscious Trap. 1/1 *PG-13* Sierra
Date: 2012-04-02 05:12 am (UTC)She's sitting, doing her painting when he approaches.
She subconsciously tenses, as if knowing what's to come. She senses the trap before he even opens his mouth. A small part of her aware that nothing good can come of his coming to her. This small part wants to scream, to tell the rest of her to run. Yet, she sits still.
"Sierra."
Yet, her body and the rest of her mind does not percieve the same danger that this small part does. The longer she stays in his presence, the smaller this part of her becomes. By the time he opens his mouth again, it's faded completely. Gone, as though it never existed.
"Would you like a treatment?"
Sierra gets up, allowing the caretakers to put away her art stuff.
Of course she wants her treatments.

Date: 2011-04-21 09:56 am (UTC)Fill: Harry Potter, Frank Longbottom
Date: 2011-12-01 04:34 am (UTC)The days when he does understand, he does nothing but scream. He bats off the prying hands of the woman who invades his privacy. He yells for his wife, his dear Alice, to please look at him, to know that he’s still there, that he still loves her. He shouts at his mother to stop bringing Neville, don’t let him see his father like this, just give the boy a picture from when he was happy and whole.
He screams and screams and none of the words come out right, and there are wands and potions and people holding him down to a bed until his limbs go limp and he slips back into darkness and all he can do is hope that tomorrow will be as blissfully blank as yesterday was.

Date: 2011-04-26 11:03 pm (UTC)River rolled her eyes at The Doctor.
“Recycling monologues are we now?” she teased, “You really are helpless.”
“River, let me go right now!”
The Doctor feebly wriggled against his restraints. His gangly legs trying to slither away from the firm hold of River’s thighs, which were straddling him.
“Oh stop it! You liked the handcuffs so much last time!”
The Doctor halted his frantic actions immediately.
“What!?”
“Sorry, spoilers!” she grinned as she leaned forward to kiss him.
