Missed Opportunities

Greetings All!

Today's theme is going to be 'missed opportunities'.  There are moments in every fandom where you find yourself screaming at a character because they missed a perfect opportunity to get the girl, get the boy, tell another character off, press for an advantage, or whatever kind of opportunity you feel that was missed or is being missed. 

Now you can get others to help you set that missed opportunity right, give them new opportunities to miss or set right,  or have them angst over lost opportunities.

To make it easy on our hardworking code monkeys, please format your posts like so:

Hawaii Five-0, Steve/Danny and Rachel, she thought she'd slide right back into her old life when she left Stan, but she realises pretty quickly that she's lost that chance for good.

Somehow, the good relationship they had developed after the divorce had left Rachel with the idea that if the thing with Stan went south she could always go right back to Danny. That she could just slide back into her old life and it would be like nothing had changed.

It was after the second date with Danny that Steve had taken her aside and told her exactly why her dream wouldn't work. Rachel's face flamed with embarrassment and shame when she realized just how she had mistreated Danny's trust.

It took a while for her to be able to look Danny in the eyes again and it would be years before she could speak to him without a twinge of regret for her missed opportunity.

Evan paced the small cell again, sighing slightly as he counted the steps around the perimeter of the cell. They were really fucked now. Who knew if Atlantis would rescue them?

They'd be kept here until the Genii finished with them and most likely shot them. All his team had family, he would be leaving a Mother, Sister and two Nephews behind... and someone he didn't quite know what to do about.

He should've revealed his true feelings
