My dad sent me some info about a paralegal position with AP and it's in NY.
Let me pause to let that sink in. My dad sending me information about a job 3,000 miles away. I figured if I ever moved, it'd be to Florida (my brother lives there and I have a few friends there), Arizona (my BFF lives there) or Hawaii (pie in the sky dream). I do have a cousin who lives in NY, but we run in completely different circles, and to my knowledge, we've never met (her mother is my dad's niece, so that makes her my 2nd cousin?)
But, it seems I have lucked out. The position requires that the applicant have a Bachelor's Degree. I have an Associates Degree. Hmm maybe I should look into what additional courses I'd need to get my Bachelor's. It might come in handy as many of the jobs I come across want someone with a Bachelor's Degree. The AP position also requires 3-5 years experience in the field and at least 3 years experience reviewing/editing business agreements. That leaves me out as well
Current Mood:frustrated
Current Location:United States, California, Downey
do I really want to move to NY?
