early Sunday morning I had a fic idea and now I'm wishing I would have written it down.
It was Danny going missing and sadly no one realized it until Steve returned from a weekend away and there was a letter waiting for him.
In the letter, Danny, hurriedly, explained that he wasn't who he said he was. Sure he was a cop, and Rachel was his ex-wife and Grace their daughter, but he was really in witness protection for whatever reason and by some really strange fluke, the person who he was being hidden from was in Hawaii and had spotted him.
Danny was on the run again and Steve was taking it upon himself to not only get the person who was after Danny, but find Danny and bring him back home (to Hawaii)
or you know...something like that. In my head it was playing out so much "cooler" lol
