Did I update about my cat after i took her to the vet on Monday? I don't think I did.
Vet status: Ms Marple is 6 yr 2 months and 7 days old (back on 10-8). She weighs 12.7 lbs and is otherwise healthy (again, back on 10-8).
Down side: $20/day to board her with the vet. For 30 days, that's $580! Looking for someplace else.
I had a few friends on FB suggest places, but it turns out, all of those places are sitter who will come to you and look after the cat for a few hours. Found a place in Long Beach that's $13/day, but still too much that I'd have to pay for 30 days.
I don't understand why it's so much. It's someplace to stay, feed her the food I provide and clean up a liter box.
Next thing is asking Lora. She has 2 cats and a dog and my cat has never been around other animals, so I don't know how she'd do. She also sheds quite a bit and I comb her every other day too! I guess Monday I could have taken her with me when I went to the Pastor's (Lora's parents) house and let her get a feel for the place, but I didn't even think of that because I was still thinking I'd board her at a facility. Hmm
