Date: 2011-06-17 11:24 pm (UTC)I'm glad you enjoyed the quote. In context, it refers to a guest at a wedding who didn't show up in the proper clothing. The parable teaches that you don't have to do wrong to be denied paradise . . . that not trying to do right will have the same effect.
The perdition imagery drew me to the quote, but I found the whole parable a rather fitting metaphor for Adam, especially after his duration as Michael's 'suit.'
