I was going to keep this a secret for another 2 months or so, but then I couldn't keep it in.
I mean, I told my BFF the day I found out (Thursday), then I waited until today tell Lora and my mom...and then once I told them, I there were people at church who I'd been talking to about continuing my education, so I wanted to tell them.
But man...it feels like I've had this news for longer than 3 days! I really thought i found out on Monday or Tuesday and not Thursday!
Anyway...
I was accepted into Arizona State University!
To be fair and honest, of the 4 universities that I was applying to, ASU is the only one that I submitted all the information needed to. The other universities are in various stages of completion, mostly involving submitting financial aid information and the final transcripts from LBCC...but they were my back up choices if, for some reason, I didn't get ASU.
And right now, I can say that I hate that I said anything to anyone, beside my BFF, simply because there's no financial aid information given from ASU. I'm assuming that they haven't gotten to my financial aid information because I plan on attending in thr Spring, and registration doesn't even begin until sometime in September. I'm hoping/expecting that gets cleared up in July or August.
