Thursday: Space

Hi everybody! I’m templefugate, your host for the week. Today's theme is space. Prompts should be about space and those who come from it.

Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and the fandom's full name
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here. Unfortunately, DW doesn’t have a cut tag, so use your best judgment when it comes to spoilers.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the above-mentioned spoiler cut.

Any, Any, an unexpected reason for alien abduction

Fill: Sherlock Holmes (ACD): Mrs Hudson

Mrs Hudson looked sternly at the creatures which she presumed were responsible for abducting her from her kitchen in Baker Street. It was, she felt, a bit much to be faced with three agitated purple creatures with what she could best describe as tentacles waving furiously at her. She had been in the middle of making an apple pie and was still holding her rolling pin. She grasped it firmly, it wouldn't be the first time she'd had to defend herself with it, although from what she could make out the creatures weren't threatening her but simply agitated. Perhaps they hadn't intended to abduct her and now didn't know what to do. She supposed it was possible they'd been after Mr Holmes, which wouldn't have bothered her in the least, or even Dr Watson, although she would have missed him.

Eventually the tentacles stopped waving in all directions and she understood they were urging her forward. She entered a sort of cabin, which was the best description she could think of. It looked completely alien to her (which made sense considering the purple creatures were aliens). However, on one surface she could see what looked rather like lumpy pastry. She walked over and applied the rolling pin, so that soon the 'pastry' looked much smoother.

One of the aliens then produced a metal sphere which it tried to cover in the 'pastry' only to have it all fall off again, when it waved its tentacles furiously once more. Mrs Hudson took the sphere and expertly covered it. She was then presented with two more spheres, which again she covered. The aliens seemed very happy at the result and made a ring around her, their tentacles joined together.

And then Mrs Hudson was back in her own kitchen. At that point she realised she had left her rolling pin behind. Never mind, she suspected they'd soon learn how to use it and she'd go out and buy a new one. Clearly their need was greater than hers.
