Looks like everybody had a good time with yesterday's spookie-doo. Sorry I wasn't around to kick things off, but thanks again to idiosyncratic for filling in.

Today we're going to do something a little different. Well, sort of. I'm actually borrowing today's theme from one we had during the month of comment porn that inspired this community. And because a) I'm lazy, and b) amara_m already explained it well, I'm just going to C&P her introduction to the theme.

So it was suggested that we have a day where prompts are just one word and the writer gets to chose the pairing. That day is today! Comment with your one word.

Writers, please preface your comment with the fandom and pairing you've chosen to write for that word.

This is a perfect opportunity to explore the multi-fandom aspect of this comm and to get your f-lists involved. And that, as I'm sure you know, leads to more comment!porn for everybody! *g*

If you want a little more focus or direction, don't forget about the lonely prompts just waiting for someone to write them.

Rain streaks the window and his reflection is soft and watery as he watches the moon dance in and out of the clouds. He's cold, but not enough to get up from the comfortable seat where he sits, naked, arms wrapped around his knees, waiting.

He isn't sure he'll come, because this is still very new, odd...for both of them.

Then the dark behind him wavers in the window, shadows dancing with something darker and slowly resolving into a face, dark hair, whiskers and a smile. His hand rises to brush down Steve's hair and Steve turns from the wavering reflection to the real thing, surging up into his arms, bodies pressed flush together as their mouths meet.
