Looks like everybody had a good time with yesterday's spookie-doo. Sorry I wasn't around to kick things off, but thanks again to
idiosyncratic for filling in.
Today we're going to do something a little different. Well, sort of. I'm actually borrowing today's theme from one we had during the month of comment porn that inspired this community. And because a) I'm lazy, and b)
amara_m already explained it well, I'm just going to C&P her introduction to the theme.
So it was suggested that we have a day where prompts are just one word and the writer gets to chose the pairing. That day is today! Comment with your one word.
Writers, please preface your comment with the fandom and pairing you've chosen to write for that word.
This is a perfect opportunity to explore the multi-fandom aspect of this comm and to get your f-lists involved. And that, as I'm sure you know, leads to more comment!porn for everybody! *g*
If you want a little more focus or direction, don't forget about the lonely prompts just waiting for someone to write them.

RPS, Christian Kane/Steve Carlson, lie
Date: 2009-01-26 05:52 am (UTC)Chris told himself it was because he didn’t want to worry Steve, or maybe he kind of left it out of the conversation because it wasn’t that bad.
Two cracked ribs and a hyper extended shoulder could have been worse right? Yeah, okay, Chris knows it could have been a whole lot fucking worse if the harness didn’t finally jerk him into stop about ten foot past the point where it should have been stopping him. But Chris is also having a hard time telling himself this because it fucking hurts to breathe right now and his mood would actually have to improved for it to be classified as miserable.
So there’s the truth why he didn’t tell Steve, he feel like fucking shit and he doesn’t want Steve trying to go all mother hen on him over the phone. He wants him here, in person.
Which totally explains why he didn’t tell him the stunt had gone wrong, right?
Yeah, that’s what Chris thought too.
