Hey guys! The weekend has all but officially begun. And you know what that means? That's right! Any fandom, any pairing or grouping, and any prompt are welcome!

But please be sure to format your prompts appropriately for the sake of your friendly neighborhood Code Monkeys! For example:

Supernatural, Sam/Dean, "I always wanted to be in a comic book"

or

AtS/Leverage, Angel/Eliot Spencer, "no human should be able to do that"

Not seeing any prompts that just reach out and grab you? Try checking out our collection of Lonely Prompts. We've got a little of everything, hopefully we've got something for you!

Speaking of Lonely Prompts, this weekend will be another Lonely Prompt Challenge. It will run from 0:00 PST Saturday to 23:59 PST Sunday. But we're going to tweak things just a little bit, so please make sure to read the challenge post tomorrow.

And with that, happy writing everybody. And have a great Friday!

DCU; Tim Drake (Robin III)/Zachary Zatara; 'but flirting is a family tradition!'

*sniffles sadly* I hold out hope that someone will answer one of my prompts. They all seem to end up sad and Lonely. :(

I have pimped, I even made a few big posts about it, but no one seems to be biting. The general consensus is that there isn't enough DCU activity around here to warrant digging through a bazillion comments to find them. :(

It's sad because I'm having lots of fun filling the DCU Lonely prompts. So I'm determined to get more people over here. >:(

I actually might post a few of the longer comment fics I wrote for this com in a few other coms with one of the banners tacked on to the bottom.

That might help.

Tim sighed and said, "But flirting is a family tradition - at least when in costume." He added the last bit in a hushed voice, eyes darting around for spies that weren't there.

Zachary was... unappeased. "If Damien Wayne is any indication, Bruce does a lot more than flirt." He paused. "And you're not in costume."

Tim gave him The Look, the one that meant, of course the street clothes were a costume, a ruse; there was no way Timothy Drake was, at heart, a normal, well-adjusted boy, enjoying a milkshake with his dashingly wonderful boyfriend on a sunny afternoon. It would, no doubt, violate the secret, sacred Emo Code all of the Bat Bunch were required to sign (and probably in blood). Sometimes, it inspired a sense of sympathy in Zachary - Robin was just a little bird in need of his support - and sometimes, it annoyed him. Presently, he leaned towards the latter. "And anyway," Zachary continued, "Aren't we supposed to improve on the older generation?"

"You don't improve on Batman," Tim said, matter-of-fact. "He's Batman."

Zachary frowned. "He's a man in a cape. He can't even bend reality to his will. I could teach you-"

"You've already taught me a lot about bending," Tim interrupted. "And none of it involved magic."

"There were some stars." He forgot he was mad and smiled - but only for a second. The scowl returned, full force, and he looked away. "Then again. I don't want to give the wrong impression. It hasn't been perfect. Good enough, I'd say. Considering. I should probably let you have your way with the waiter, maybe then you'll acquire some new skills and our playing field will be more... even. "

Tim blinked. "Are you questioning my skills? I train twenty hours a day. My body is a finely honed tool."

"So's my wand. That doesn't mean it knows what to do in a bed. Actually, well, it kind of does. But that's a long story." Zachary flushed.

"That's it," Tim said. "Check please!"

"We're leaving?"

"We're definitely leaving."

Zachary scowled further. "Now your flirting has ruined our date."

"Well, my wand-like inadequacies are going to fix it. New skills," Tim muttered, low. "Do you know how many ways I can twist? How many muscles I can isolate at once?" When the check was delivered, he didn't so much as crack a smile for the (pretty okay looking) waiter. He just tossed a handful of cash onto the table and stalked away, all business.

Zachary watched him go. Of course Tim would take it so poorly; he always had something to prove. He thought of the vigor and force that Tim brought to any challenge, and the small smile slowly returned to his face. "You could at least wait for me," He demanded loudly, adding more annoyance than was actually there.

(And actually, suddenly, it wasn't there at all).

Aw, Tim's a flirt. <3 Of COURSE he is. Bruce is his new daddy.

I love how jealous Zat is and how he nit picks at Tim to get even. It seems so very like him.

This was fantastic, thanks so much. <3333
